After showing up to a canceled meeting, I decided to stop by a local restaurant, Lotus Cafe, and catch up on some work. I have been a longtime supporter of this place and have come to know the owners, Tai and Tan, quite well. They have been serving the 76016 area of Arlington for years. Tai is usually running all around, from the kitchen, to the front of house, and the register. Tan is usually behind the scenes but when he is out, rarely is he not smiling. Both of these men work long hours and are committed to their passion. Their food is good, and if they make a mistake, they are always quick to fix. Best Bahn Mi in the city, hands-down. Great coconut shrimp.Beware, tho- I ordered a 'Green Tea Latte' boba, which everywhere else I've gotten has been actual Green Tea- but this was Matcha powder, which I'm not a super fan of.One tip - Lotus could definitely stand to put a little more boba in their drinks, they're very big :)
Thai and tan treat customers well and Nadine and Brittany do a good job taking orders and delivering food. tasty. they stayed open late to let us eat. ty
This place is amazing! My family comes all the time for lunch, dinner, or even for a quick snack or boba. Definitely try it out!
Honestly haven't tried the food. Customer service this day was so bad I decided to not even go through with my order. The person I spoke to seemed very new... didn't know answers to anything I asked about on the menu! The person they were asking for help in the background so they could help me was impatient and rude with her answers. No thx. Your customers generate your paycheck...if you treat us as though you don't need our business we can certainly comply with that and take our money elsewhere.
We absolutely love this restaurant! Not only is everyone who works there absolutely wonderful, and treat you like family, but their food is fantastic and they are incredibly accommodating (We always ask for extra veggies!). All the food is so fresh, The veggies have just the right crunch, and the seasoning and flavor is perfect every time.
The service was A-1 and the food was exceptional!
Great pho here, all the other dishes are good as well, but we're really here for the pho. Also has refreshing beverages and the Vietnamese coffee is really good. The coffee is a bit bitter, but has that nice light sweet taste to it.
My favorite place. They always accommodate to my special request for my vermicelli bowls and I always end up getting spring rolls. Their peanut sauce is so delicious. I'm so lucky I live around the block!
2nd time here and we really enjoy it.I got the shaken beef, torpedo shrimp and tea. My husband got Chicken Phō and Egg Rolls.Nick is always pleasant! Even if his day is alright he is still has a positive and upbeat attitude! Definitely enjoy coming here.
