Me and my date out on a Sunday, and she said she knows this "spot."This place should be more than a hidden- gem, rather a National Icon! Love, love love Hershey's Palace!Great service, clean facility, VERY nice staff- great food! All wins and no losses. Thank you guys for the experience. We shall be returning.
So I had a chance to make it out to Hersheys Palace today, and let me say, “I love this place!” Owners Hershey and May are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! Hershey greeted me with a smile and when I asked about some menu items, he was very passionate about each one. In the end, I told him to surprise me, and he did the steak sandwich (different from a Philly—more sweet and Chicago inspired), and let me say, it did not disappoint! The photos below don’t do it enogh justice! If you’ve never been to this establishment, please go and show them some love and support! This is a true gem right in the heart of Downtown Arlington! Delicious! I thought the fries looked over done BUT it makes the texture a great mix cause the outside is crispy and the middle is moist. Rare to find these days. Had the philly... its a must have!
This restaurant has food from Chicago. Which is my home town. The food is good but you can tell they've cut some corners on some things like the mild sauce. That's a stable to fast food in Chicago and it doesn't taste like it does in Chicago and that's the one complaint I have. People here don't know but it's not original. You can tell they make it in house and it doesn't have the sweet taste to it at all and it's a little thicker. Other then that the food is good. The cashier was nice but the owner should be more aware of his customers
This is the worst customer service I have experienced, I ordered on their website 6 wings curbside pick up , when I call at arrival she demands I come in to pick up, once i refuse she brings my order to the car when I check it there are 6 party wings instead of the 6 whole wings they sale and advertise. I call immediately and asked when they changed she says they are out of the whole wings today , ok that's fine but why was this information not disclosed and the price adjusted. She said it's still the same price . Never again rude and unprofessional!!!
Where's the beef?!! I got a "steak hoagie" (sweet steak) Saturday and the flavor was on point but there wasn't much meat! Today I ordered 2 more and I must say I am HIGHLY disappointed! Not only is the beef extremely scarce but the flavor is all the way off! The sauce tastes like BBQ sauce mixed with hot and mild sauce! I asked for everything on the sandwiches and there's a smidgen of sweet peppers, one tomato very little cheese and NO hot peppers! I will not get this again!!
Stopped in for the first time yesterday. Was a little hesitant because I smelled nothing and the place was empty. Decided to give it a try but they were out of what I wanted which was wings. No problem because many restaurants are struggling with that. I don't typically eat pork but was intrigued they had a pork chop sandwich. Got it and it was very yummy. There was some type of disagreement going on in the kitchen which was uncomfortable but overall, I will definitely return. BTW, prices were reasonable.
Stopped in Friday night and had wings and a gyro. All was fantastic. I recommend both. Took home some chocolate cake, and it was better than $$$$ places chocolate cake that I've had.
I had the Italian Beef. It was the best I have had in a very long time. If you like Chicago style food due yourself a favor and go check out Hershey's
I will not eat here again. I paid $44 for my order. Not only was it wrong and missing items, it was cold and fries were raw. I called asking for a refund and was refused the refund. Was told I was going to get a return call and here we are three days later no return call. I used to love this place but the quality has decreased over time and now the service as well. I have recommended this establishment to many people who also have done the same. Not only am I sharing here I have shared with others.
