Nice little cafe. I believe it's under new ownership/management which is cool. I'm not for certain but I think the manager took my to go order. He was very nice. Let me know they were just rolling out a new menu that day. Having been in the food industry for 30 years, I have a few pointers.1. Your hostess need to put their cellphones away and pay more attention to the door, phones, and guests.2. There is no place for your to go guests to wait for their orders. I stood at the edge of the pie display in the way of the employees coming and going behind that front counter. It was an awkward place to be.3. The table by the front door for Uber and Door Dash pickups is too long and inattentive. There is no checks and balances that the driver is grabbing the right order. Or that everything is there.4. It was a Saturday afternoon (about 1pm) and not very busy yet it took 30 min for 2 items which were not hot or made correctly. I just had to travel back across the street so the food should have still been hot.5. If you are going to serve cornbread, you have to serve more than a mini muffin. At least the menu should state that's what it is. Your customers are going to expect a good slice of cornbread with butter. My boss was disappointed at the size and the fact it was hard.6. Maybe think about shredding the meat for the taco salads instead of serving it in chunks. It would spread the flavor of the rest of the ingredients more.I will definitely give this place another try. The whole experience wasn't bad. I think with just a few tweaks I would give it 5 stars next time.
First time there. Very clean and very friendly folks. Menu is HUGE. They have everything. Breakfast, burgers, fish, Mexican. You name it they got it. Food came out very hot and stayed hot. They also have a huge selection of side items. Very home style cooking. We will definitely be regulars there. They are good people. Really enjoyed my chicken fried steak. It was huge as well. Also they are quite generous with the portions we got.
Huge menu comprised of breakfast, Mexican, and typical American cuisines. Every item on the menu they do well. They offer covered outdoor seating on the side of the building if indoor isn't acceptable for customers. You can't go wrong with the Stacked Enchiladas or chicken and waffles. Both locations here and Grand Prairie really are great reliable places for good food. Check hours of operations before you go.

Probably best Cafe style restaurant any part of Texas. The menu was extensive in all possible categories. I expected slow service because of all the items on the menu, but no, service was fast. Food well prepared and delicious. It was a surprise to find this Cafe. Won't miss another chance or any chance to go there. You won't be disappointed!
This South Arlington location was a lot better than the GP one. It was more open. The staff was much friendly here. The chicken Fried steak kickazz

We got pretty decent sized portions and the price was fine. But the food was okay - it wasn’t the best or the worst, just okay. I wouldn’t come here again personally.
You will love Good Day! Portions are generous, choices are great including your traditional American faves and Hispanic specialties that are a delight.Professionally run which is a rarity these days. The staff here hustles to provide a great experience. Going on a weekend? Prepare to wait a little bit but worth it. Enjoy!
Consistently get great food and service whether at this location or the Grand Prarie location! Great value here! Recommend a visit when in this area!
