There's a massive oversaturation of bad sub chains seemingly all over the country and I've always had the worst time finding a good small business that makes good subs.I went back to visit my hometown of Arlington and was told about this gem and I've gotta say it's probably one of the best if not the best subs you'll have. It was so good that my girlfriend and I came here both days we were on vacation here since we knew we wouldn't be back for awhile.I'm hoping I can find another good local sub shop like it in San Antonio, but my vacation was all the better having found this place and I definitely will be coming back the next time I'm in town
So I came here after crazy praise from my coworkers and was honestly really disappointed. Dino's is too popular for its own good. The line was out the door the entire hour I was there, it took me 40 minutes to get my food and it was only a little bit better than any other sub for all that time. Not to mention my hot sub was cold by the time I got it.18 bucks for a sub, chips, and a drink is way too much for what I got.
Best independent sandwich shop around. Back in the day, when I lived in Fort Worth, a trip to Arlington meant two things; a trip to the now gone electronic stores Electronic Discount Sales (EDS) and Fry's, and a trip to Dino's for a sub and a beer. Dino's still delivers and the Dino Dressing is still the best. I tend to get the subs that include it at no extra charge, but it is worth it to add it to any sub.
I have been coming here since the 1990s. Has not changed one bit other than the sign and the newer TV. The best restaurant in Arlington. Get the #11.

Started going to Dino's in 1987 when I lived just down the road. Haven't been in over 20 years because I moved further west.Work just happened to take me nearby today and stopped in for lunch and had the #8!Man have I missed this place! Freshly baked bread, they slice the meat right when you order the sandwich, the meats are all so flavorful and beats the hell out of any chain sub shop. Dino's has been a staple in Arlington since 1980 and it is easy to see why! I am already ready to go back! Highly recommend if you are ever in Arlington!
Absolutely fantastic spot! Subs are LOADED with meats & pitchers of ice cold Bud Light are cheappp. I live in NYC & was extremely impressed!
I got the Big D and boy did it deliver! Even 1/2 was too much. Haha. On a serious note, this place has been in business for over 40 years. That speaks for itself.
Always gotta go with The Dino with The Works. Such a good sun shop. Wish I lived closer. When I’m in the area I always make sure to swing by and feast
