Disappointed in the food and they forgot to include my fries. :(
Been to lots of Dickey's BBQ restaurants in the last 4 decades including the original that opened in 1941. I like this one the best. They've got the big baked potatoes that I like to fill full of chopped beef and a bucket of melted butter. Interesting experiment going on at this one with twice the space of regular Dickey's. They've opened a bar on one side like the original Dickey's developed from. The original Dickey's had a bar that had a house in the back. Customers smelled the brisket that Dickey was cooking for His family and expressed their desire to buy lunch and dinner from Him. Now, customers are eating delicious BBQ and seeing the good times happening at the bar on the other side and wanting to have a few drinks. It's a great place to eat, drink, and be merry. I ate there 3 days in a row after discovering them near my job site at Hurricane Harbor.
I have been eating here quite frequently. The food is usually good. The customer service is ok. They are not exceptionally friendly or rude. However, today i noticed they started charging a fee to use credit cards. I was told the menu prices are the "cash only prices". That is offensive and not customary. If you need to raise your prices then raise the prices, but to charge customers based on payment format is not an acceptable business model. I will not do business with any company that thinks like that and will not return.
The food was amazing I loved it and the place was so clean and very friendly employees I would definitely recommend this place and I will be going back for with all my family
Placed a order over an hour ago. I guess I don't eat tonight. That's just wrong. Better put my money back on card ubereats.
Service here was top notch, they were very welcoming and polite answering questions. Brisket and chicken were great with the sauce. Onion rings were good and they give you onions and pickles as a side. I enjoyed the beans as well.
I went thru drive thru and ordered 2 meat combo (Turkey and Ribs) paid $18 and get home NO RIBS, some sorry slices of brisket. I called back spoke to Isabell she says when I come back she will refund my money. Called 2 days ago to go by there spoke to Miguel (supposedly a Mgr) he gets an attitude and says he can’t help me I need to call back the next day (Saturday). So I’ve got my receipt showing what they charged and no one seems now to want and help me. I will NEVER go to this location again. They didn’t even l give me fresh BBQ Sauce even though they serve it if you go inside. Warning if you go to this location check your food!!!
Just arrived in Dallas for the first time. 2 people I asked randomly about BBQ both recommended Dickey's. So we found one on the map and dropped in.The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were soo nice and receptive to my questions. That gets them the 5th star. I like nice people!!We had 2 meat platters. The BBQ beans were great. So was the loaded mashed potatoes. Those were 2 of 12 side I had to choose from.The Ham, Brisket and pulled pork were all pretty good. The pulled pork was a little dry, maybe that is how it is done in Texas.BBQ Sauce, that's what everybody loves right? There's is a little sweet with a nice peppery kick at the end. It was good. That took care of the brisket!! Very generous portions too, I did not have to back and ask for more of anything.Walking in I saw a drive through. Maybe this could be classified as fast food BBQ...but it was good. Like a Chipotle, everything is dished up right in front of you as you walk the line.Priced right for the quality. They have a nice affordable kids option too. 1 meat, any side (mac n cheese) and a drink. TV screens all around for the big game and a pretty decent sized bar.Kudos to the staff, they made a great experience!
LOVE their food!! I MUST stop here whenever in Dallas. The ribs, jalapeno beans, and cabbage slaw... You can smell the authentic BBQ flavor as soon as you walk in! ?
Very tasty and tender chicken and brisket. Sides well had green beans and coleslaw. Definitely can tell they are not overly worried about them tasting great. Would definitely go back though.
