Although the food is delicious the explanation as to why my pick up order that was ordered at 11:30 for pick up at 12:30 and was not ready til 1:05 makes zero sense. I was told that they handle the people in front of them then pack the to go orders. Well I in front of you for pick up at 12:30 and I watched the 8 people in line before me get there food and leave AND the guy who came in behind ALL get their food before me. Maybe an off day but really ran me hot..
Great food and atmosphere! Best greens and cabbage ever. Catfish was super fresh, hot and made to order. It is now on my heavy rotation.
So popped in on Soul Food Sunday and my plates and service was the BEST ??!!!!!Fried Catfish, Oxtails,Red Beans & Rice and Black eyes peas,cabbage cornbread muffins!!!!! COME ON BLACKOWNED BUSINESS
My husband and I just finished an absolutely delicious Sunday meal today! He had the fried pork chops with collard greens and red beans & rice. i had the fried Cajun ribs with red beans & rice and sautéed cabbage. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was outstanding from the service to the very last bite. Do yourself a favor and go, you won't be disappointed!
The food was excellent! That red velvet praline cake is to die for! The service was great, and the establishment is very clean.
The portion is poor in service, over priced and the food was terrible. I am very shocked they are still in business when other soul food restaurants give you your money worth. I had to walk out and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
