I have to say, I was very surprised and impressed by the food!I had the 3pc catfish with x2 rice n gravy?My wife had the chicken fried chicken with cabbage, rice n gravy. The GRAVY??! Mightilicious!! Catfish WELL seasoned, chicken fried chicken tender and juicy, cabbage delicious, everything was great! Definitely will be coming multiple times a week!
We were extremely impressed with the quality of the meal and the catering services provided by the staff. Thank you all for making our wedding day so amazing and memorable. Our guests loved everything, especially the cabbage and mac & cheese! Also thank you to Mr. Damian & team for your patience, stability, and flexibility during the wedding planning process as well as our wedding day. We have recommended their services to our family and friends, and I would also recommend them to anyone interested in delicious food.
I moved to Arlington a little over a month ago. I noticed Damian’s Cajun Soul Cafe every day when I pass by there leaving my house. It’s only 4 minutes from me. So I decided to try it after reading reviews. Today is Sunday so I figured today would be a good day to try it. Let’s just say I’m mad at myself for waiting a month to try their food! Everything was delicious! I had the oxtails with rice & gravy, collard greens mac n cheese and cornbread. I couldn’t decide on which dessert so I got peach cobbler and the praline candy cheesecake. I have absolutely no complaints! Everything was seasoned perfectly. I ate 5 hours ago and I’m still full…lol. The lady who took my order was friendly. I didn’t get her name. I will definitely be back!
My husband and I walked in about 4:00pm. Two ladies didn’t greet us and was taking their take putting on gloves and serving the customers ahead us. I’ve seen this location with several different names before but seems Damian’s been there a bit longer so we decided to try…The lady stated they were out of the potatoes so we just turned back around. We were excited about trying but now… no thanks. The child waved to me bye ?? but no acknowledgement from the staff. Bummed out ☹️

Great food and atmosphere! Best greens and cabbage ever. Catfish was super fresh, hot and made to order. It is now on my heavy rotation.
It was a great experience! The greens tasted like home (Louisiana) Service was on point, and lastly the pound cake melted in my mouth
Damian serves authentic Cajun flavored Soul Food. I ordered the new Pork Steak, very tender. Meal mate had the gumbo, seasoned nicely. Definitely worth the trip, bought take out and heat held for 20 minute ride home. Will get back to you on Peach Cobbler.
Food was piping hot, catfish was great, chicken fried chicken portion was HUGE. Staff was very nice. Great restaurant, will definitely be back
