I wanted to try them because I've heard about their food from several people. I love brisket so I ordered the brisket queso and chicken fried brisket dinner. It was all delicious. It was a lot of food so I wasn't able to finish it all. I also ordered a Hurricane frozen drink and it was strong.
They were advertising a deep fried brisket with 2 sides and Dr pepper dipping sauce and so I ordered it and to be honest it was horrible. It was way over cooked to the point the brisket was nothing but a rubbery mess.. and the green beans weren't cooked all the way and the mac and cheese was a disgrace, the macaroni wasn't cook all the way.. it was a very bad meal and wasn't impressed.. won't be going back any time soon
Ordered chicken fried steak. Macaroni seemed store bought. It used to be made fresh. Hadn’t been since before Covid. Portion sizes were much smaller and now it’s only 2 sides per meal. Before it used to be 3.
Today was good. A little slow seating us when no one was there, not busy! After that, our server was great she kept glasses filled, orders correct, food was great.
I love cotton patch. I always get great service and my food is always amazing. I get the grilled porkchop almost every time. It's a great family friendly location. You get a free dessert for your birthday and I can never pass up the peach cobbler with ice cream. Oh and they have the best fried pickles!!
Great sever but the food was terrible stake dry as ever, Pasta was over cooked, rice was gummy an over done, The potatoes were so over cooked an dry, i will never eat at another cotton patch again. Its like the cook for the season an over cooked everything
Emily is fantastic. I have only just recently experienced The Cotton Patch through delivery, but the food is exceptional. Today I attempted to order again and Uber Eats ruined that possibility. 5 different drivers and none showed up with my order. Emily went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. I do suggest picking up or using a different app if you are not dining in, the food is too good...pretty sure the Uber driver took off with mine.
I received everything I ordered except the tarter sauce. not sure why they gave bbq sauce. or creamy gravy. ? the peach cobbler is not cobbler its a pie. the crust taste like a sugar cookie. Still mmm. the shells on my brisket tacos were soft on the bottom, they broke so I ate the tacos like nachos. ? they were seasoned good. the catfish was not fried hard enough to my liking but seasoned almost to perfection (missing hot sauce and tarter sauce would've made it perfect). overall the meal was great. I will order again.
My visit to Cotton Patch was as before just great. The food was very good and server was very professional. I enjoyed and look forward to my next visit.
Came here around 2pm, ordered drinks and appetizers.*Side note, it was our waitress first day on the floor.*The appetizers came out fast with no problems, but our food never came. We waited for over an hour, watched people come after us, eat their food and leave. After waiting an hour and a half we got up to pay for the appetizers and drinks. We finally found someone and told them what happened. After explaining everything we were finally offered our food, after I repeatedly told her I did not want it because it took them over an hour and they were not busy at all. She continued to offer to pay for our meals and my husband finally agreed.We were told the reason our late food was because the it was her first day and she didn't enter it correctly.If that's true why did we receive our appetizers?I love Cotton Patch, but this location needs to assist with their newer employees so they don't make the same mistake if it was even her fault.
