The service and food was great! They remodeled since the last time i went and it looks nice and clean. We will be back
Pretty good, got the chopped brisket. Asked for it without sauce though and they still put sauce on it anyways so that was a bummer. But the loaded potato was great and tried on of my father in laws ribs and it was pretty good. Also loved all the Coca-Cola stuff on the walls.
I haven't been back here in nearly a year and it makes me sad.Cokers has always had decent BBQ, decent sides, and big portions, but it was nothing amazing that you'd go out of your way for, a decent 4/5. You generally went because it was convenient/close, the cool coke merchandise, and most importantly the ice cold fountain drink coke.Now that they're under new management they got rid of the fountain drink cokes and serve the awful tasting canned coke that you get at the grocery store. The excuse was people complained about the inconsistency in the fountain drink taste, which is simple equipment management and keeping the formula ingredients topped. Sounds like just straight up laziness to me, rather than fix the problem they just switched to an inferior cop out solution.Everyone knows fountain > glass bottle > plastic bottle/canSo now they just give generic store bought coke and BBQ that's decent but doesn't stand out in a crowd, why should I come here anymore? I used to come here at least once a month but when visiting the area but now I can't be bothered to go, there's better BBQ out there if they're not going to serve fountain soda.
excellent bbq! old institution. nicest people. just a very positive experience!
Not the same place it used to be. This is where I wanted to go for my birthday, but when we found out they no longer offer the "all you can eat", we just left. The staff was nice enough, but the food from previous visits was just average. The "all you can eat" was their selling point for me, so unless this place is right around the corner from you, I don't recommend making a special trip here.
Cokers, as always, was wonderful. Cheyenne and Jeff are so personable and helpfull, and the food. Dear lord, the food. Not many people can match my Momma in the kitchen and Dad on the grill, but these folks sure can! It's hard to decide what I want most when I come in, so I always end up with the three meat plate, lol.
The food was incredible and the man serving as was very friendly and took care of us. I was not a big fan of the sauce but the food was so good that it didn’t matter!
I have driven by Coker's BBQ for years and the outside looks so unkempt that I have never wanted to venture inside to try it. It doesn't have a fun rustic look, it looks like it may or may not be open and may not have been occupied for years. I was pleasantly surprised when I went inside and it does have nice clean decor and friendly service. You sit down and order from a server instead of the usual tray line ordering. The bbq was ok. It wasn't terrible and it wasn't great. We had sliced brisket and ribs. They both tasted like they had been cooked in an oven and didn't have much smoke flavor. They weren't bad but there was nothing notable and it was more like eating a roast than bbq. The sides we had were potato salad, fries and mac and cheese and nothing stood out as better than average.
Reading past recent reviews I wasn't looking forward to this visit. Boy was I surprised! It was NOTHING like what I expected. First, they seat you for lunch and bring u a menu. Never heard of this at a BBQ place. The waitress, Cheyenne, was clear in taking and delivering our orders. There were 5 in our group. Cheyenne made several visits to our table to stay on top of any needs. The food was great, priced reasonably and well prepared. A most enjoyable visit which will be repeated in the future.
First time visiting will be making this our go to stop for BBQ!! By far the best pulled pork I have ever had! Staff was amazing and so helpful thank you to Cheyenne for being so sweet and kind!
