On 3/20/22 I visited this location and ordered a family meal with 3 sides (mac and cheese x 2, and 1 mashed potato). As I began to eat one of the mac and cheese sides, I tasted something with a different texture. When I pulled out what it was, I found a plastic piece (as pictured). It looks similar to a piece of lid. I was perplexed because all of the lids that I received were intact with no missing pieces. This had never happened to me before but I figured when packaging something may have broke off.On 3/29/22, I opened my last remaining new container of mac n cheese. As I was eating, I once again pulled out a piece of plastic. The same texture and shape as the previous one. This prompted me to write this review. It also prompted me to not eat any more from the container for fear of finding more hidden pieces. I am now highly suspicious of how two different containers had plastic pieces buried in them and how these pieces got there in the first place (the plastic pieces are undetectable to see in food until ingested). I hate to think what would have happened if a young child, or anyone else for that matter had tried to swallow this, not knowing what was in their food. Because of this I wanted to warn others. I will not be ordering any more sides from Church's.
Bad service, bad food, the chicken was not cooked. The corn had old taste. The manager asked me for my DL to pay with debit card. I ordered a 16 piece mixed and requested no thighs. He said that would be impossible. That should have been the signal to just leave. But I paid and he gave me 3 under cooked breast, 3 soggy wings and 10 legs. Not even balance pieces.So maybe everyone that is spending their own money on some food, just go anywhere else. This place really sucked! Sorry
Always the potential to be good but normally has already cooked food like jalapeño bomber, okra and fries that should be cooked fresh. So sad.
Kind people but be prepared to get your order wrong. Ordered spicy chicken meal, got normal.
The staff is normally friendly and professional. However, this location refuses to accept coupons, which I truly don't understand. I'm not sure if this is a franchise but if so I believe all locations should be the same.
I was not thinking to take pictures of this disaster of a meal. The Churches located on Matlock in Mansfield is terrible. Old chicken. Asked for Sprite, I received water. Told them I wanted icing on my fried pies and did not receive it. How do you mess up tenders? Just a terrible experience.
The chicken was good and the price was great, but we were disappointed that the dining room was closed when we got there. The lady that took my order was very nice, but not very good with English....hard to understand.
The food was good but not enough fries when ordering a 16 piece dinner with 2 sides of fries that are really only for 2 maybe 3 people.
I got a chicken sandwich, it was hot but the mayo was really messy, and they only gave me two napkins. It was okay, probably not going back.??♀️
Sadly, there were only two guys working and the air conditioner was out, but they were so polite and did an awesome job
