I was so excited to finally find an amazing Ethiopian restaurant near me! Closest was FW until now. I always get their veggie plate and am never disappointed- also more than I can eat so great for sharing. I love that you can get bbq as well which is also good to make my less adventurous eaters happy and I can still get what I want ❤?
Went here with my friends for a dinner. They are really good. The have traditional Ethiopian and also Tex -Ethiopian with some regular Texan items for people who are not sure if they wanna try traditional Ethiopian (there is always someone in your group trust me). I went with traditional Ethiopian and loved it absolutely.
Absolutely outstanding. We walked in and another table gave us a suggestion to the get the texas combo (mind blown)!!
I love Ethiopian food; therefore, my husband and I stop by last night at this restaurant. If you love Ethiopian food and BBQ food Cherkose Ethiopian cuisine restaurant is perfect for you. I ordered the Tex platter for two and the vegetarian platter and when I tell you it was FABULOUS !!! The food was super delicious and the customer service was AWESOME, they made me feel at home and cozy ……. We will me back, our new found heaven !!! ???
Amazing food and amazing people the food is prepared with a lot of love and respect for the culture I ordered the vegan option and had texas chocolate sheet cake for dessert. I will be coming back soon!
Posted open til 8 on Saturday, got here at 4:30. Drove 47 minutes across town to get here to find it closed for Ethiopian food. Ridiculous. Don’t waste your time because obviously they don’t stick to a posted schedule and no respect for your time.
I’m not sure that I would order from here again. The beef tibs was a very small portion and it was definitely spoiled so I couldn’t even eat it and that was a waste of money. The vegan combo was okay, I’ve ate at several other Ethiopian establishments and have had better.My husband got the baked potato and he was satisfied, but their Texas sheet cake was so spicy that my husband couldn’t eat it.I was highly disappointed and would only go back for the bbq side of their restaurant. It was really a waste of $40+
Food is So delicious everyone should try it and last but not least the warm hospitality feels like home.
I came in and was given a menu. I sat for 15 minutes. No one came back to take my order so I left. Won’t be back
