Fried green tomatoes and Mac n cheese were good , I went back in the evening bought fried chicken n fried fish and the fish was way over cooked very dried out..sweet potatoes had soooo much liquid , greens were very bitter with no flavor

I don’t believe in giving great ratings just because something is black owned. Chef Tam may want to take her name off w/e is going on here. This chicken was alright but I could taste it was fried in the same oil as the fish and just looking at that soupy but stiff Mac n cheese says it all.

I started tasting THIS food in the CAR on the way home, son!! EVERYTHING is off the chain, the catfish is so damn fresh and crispy on the outside. Seasonings, 10's across the board. Y'all need to hurry up and get y'all tails over to this place ASAP. I was thoroughly impressed with everything!!

Whew!! I didn’t take any pictures because all the food is demolished! I ordered the fish, seasoned fries, greens, 4 pieces of chicken, dirty rice, and yams and Omgggg!!! Could smell the goodness through the bag! Think we’ve found a new favorite restaurant! Customer service is superb as well!❤️ Coming back for more and more!

The lady at this store front was very nice and patient with us. The price was worth the portions because our food came in huge containers. We went based off the pictures we seen others post and don't get me wrong the pictures matched but it did not match the taste! I got the shrimp and grits with the catfish and my grits were dry and stuck together more like clumped together even with the small amount of seafood sauce they drizzled on did not help. It wasn't worth eating after the shrimp was gone. So more then half of it was thrown away! My fish was fried very hard so the meat was not flakey on the inside but it did have good flavor as far as the crust. The shrimp was salty they were nice and large sized not really Cajun seasoned but eh good enough for me to fork it down with some water. My husband got the dirty rice and catfish and it was overly salted to the point he couldn't even eat them sadly, but his catfish was cooked beautifully with a good seasoning and the fish was flakey which I was jealous of because mine did not come out that way. I also got the fried green tomatoes which I was extremely disappointed in no flavor at all (*Insert black girl eye roll*) it was dull bland and underwhelming. It was instagram picture worthy but HONESTLY I wouldn't eat there again. It was fun to explore a new place in Arlington. That sort of resembled a little piece of home. Tasting this place made me even more homesick in a bad way I miss the food tremendously. ?

Went to Chef Tam’s after a friend recommended it and it did not disappoint!!!! It was so good! I got the blackened catfish over cheesy grits with a side of greens! Also not pictured, the peach cobbler nachos! We will be back!

The food is delicious! I will be returning this is definitely the best catfish I done had in Texas ! Aent nothing like some good southern cooking ??? my meal is the “ Bayou city Blues “

A Gem in Arlington. The food , the service is fresh and always good. Gotta try the chicken and waffles and the new orleans salmon its fye

Great food! Enough for two people

You can tell when someone different cooked, all i know is the last 2 times wasn't like the first 3 times. Consistency is what brings customers back
