Sorry but wasn't really a fan of this. These are fusion tacos. Too much going on yet oddly bland at the same time. I couldn't taste the mac n Cheese in my taco. I think the taco shells kind of drown out the flavors. I thought the beans would be kind of sweet but they weren't. I didn't like them. Cilantro rice bland. Wasnt a fan of the cheese sticks either. The consistency was like the cheap cheese slices in the plastic wrapping from the grocery store rolled up battered and fried. I won't return but I think others might like their food. If you like fusion tacos give em a try.
The chips have such a great flavor and they were very fresh and warm, even after I got back to work with them. The salsa is entirely too hot! I really couldn't enjoy the flavor because it was way to hot. If they're going to make salsa that hot, there should be a mild option available. The beef fajitas taco that I got was awesome! Great place overall, but just can't deal with the too hot salsa. Cartel..please let me know if you decide to make a mild salsa.
The margaritas are exceptional. Come for the tacos, stay for the drinks.
Pretty good!! First time there.Tacos were pretty filled w substance. I had the veggie taco, chicken fajita taco, and Mexican corn. Very good.Salsa was meh...needed flavor. But they had chicharones and that was tasty.The rice was undercooked.Service was good.Overall, I give it. 4.5 and well worth another visit.
Visited Cartel to try it out and to rices I felt were fair and nice selection of options. Tried the salmon , beef fajita , chicken fajita tacos. They were all flavorful. The corn tortillas were ok so if your a fan of flour go ahead and order those.
I've been here many times but this is my first time to write a review. I love the 7 layer dip that is cooked in an iron skillet (yummy, hot goo!!!) and the #9 taco!!! Never fails to satisfy!
If your looking for Texas twist on a street taco, this is it. Definitely not Mexican but decent food. The red salsa is hot sauce and the green salsa has too many spices. Meat was good but not Street taco. Bar seems to get all the action. Good place to hang out.
One of my favorite places in Arlington to have a drink and a taco. Nice selection of gourmet tacos and one of the best patio bars in downtown.

Well tacos are not good, tortillas are horrible (flour & corn) and that's what makes a taco good. Fajitas were ok, needed some more flavor, chicken was dry and just a No for me. Queso dip is probably the only reason I'd go back. The atmosphere was good and staff was good. To be honest the Mexican cartel would be ashamed of these ?
