Ms. Kyra was our waitress tonight. She was very kind and got everything to us in a timely manner, even though she was busy. The food was delicious and the drinks were cheap. I also enjoyed the music and patio atmosphere.
Worst service known to man. Waitresses ignore you. I don’t know how they make any money. I’ve been to plenty of Boomers but this one should be shutdown or clean house. It took 45 min to get a drink that was after sitting 30 min with waitresses ignoring tables. This is one of the smallest Boomers I’ve been to so it should not have taken as long as it did. I basically opened the Lincoln Square location, I’ve spent time at the one on Bryant Irvin, and the other 3 in FTW. Stay away from this Boomers. Worst!!! Only order beers, water, and a rum/coke. Not rocket science but you can’t even get attention. Waitresses all standing talking. A few tables inside. 3 bartenders, 6 waitresses standing, maybe 15 tables outside, if that. How does it take that long to get waited on besides get drinks. Worst service you will ever have! RIDICULOUS! Go to any other bar in the Highlands BUT BOOMERS! Shut this place down!!! Mismanaged. Rude and terrible employees. Usually tip 100% but struggled to leave anything.
Had lunch there for the first time today. Nachos were good. But the quesadillas were awesome. I don’t usually order them because I’m not a fan of soggy quesadillas. They were not soggy at all. Perfect. And the guacamole and ranch dips were awesome too. Our waitress was the only one on staff helping outdoor customers and indoor customers and she was on point. I forgot her name because I’m also in sales and I can’t remember a name to save my life. She did her job very well though. I’m impressed with the food and service.
Yesterday several friends and I meeting up for a great time of great laughs, atmosphere, and great food. i was hungry for a nice thick juicy burger and great seasoned fries....and a beer or two. This is what was ordered to the waitress. I got a plate with 10-14 small fries and the "burger" was barely over 1/4 inch thin. One side blackened with grill char and edges beyond chewable/edible. Upsetting this IS "The BoomerJack Burger and fries plate" served. Last two prior visits were also disappointing but at least edible. I finished my beer and we went across Stacy to the fast food burger joint and got a better quality meal at a much better price. The waitress was not rude and was nice. She brought coupons for $5 off per table for more of this food from Boomerjacks future visits. I dont think so. The beer was good. Waitress was good. Fries tasted good (the few they put on your plate). This is my last 3 experiences with this place, last. Good luck and enjoy life!
I think this is my worst experience at this location. Being seated outside and my husband's Shiner were the only good things. I sent a drink back (it was still on my tab), the replacement drink was a cup full of ice and half of a drink poured over it. Waters were not refilled, after asking. We didn't receive cutlery or napkins until after our food arrived and we asked twice. My burger was horrendous. My husband ordered a second drink that never arrived. After our food arrived I was ready to go. Left my full meal minus two bites. Over all I think I'll stick to only going in during the week when they aren't as busy.
Our server Kimberly was amazing and so sweet. She handled us and everyone in her section quickly. The food was amazing also. Drinks were flavorful and not too heavy. We will definitely come back.
This review will be a perfect example of "first impressions are important ." on March 8 I made an order after work, decided to try something different so I went with BOOMERJACK'S. I ordered wings, 20 piece, onion rings, and southwest eggrolls. I arrived to pick them up and I must say the ladies are very beautiful that work there, every single one of them. I pick up my meal and get back to the hotel and realize my Southwest eggrolls are not there. I called them back up and told them the issue, there was a lady who said she will make a note of it and that I would be picking them up the following day because I did not feel like traveling all the way back for eggrolls I'll just pick them up after work the next day. So the next day arrives and I go to pick up my eggrolls. There was a manager there who was also there the night before when I picked up my order, he claimed that no one there made any note about it and couldn't give me the eggrolls. So I asked him would I be getting a refund instead then because they were $10? Nothing, and then talks to another staffer and walks away and I'm left standing there. I did not even want the refund I wanted the eggrolls because I was curious about how they would taste. Not pleased about losing $10 for an appetizer that I never received. Now I am not even from Texas I am located here on a work assignment for a few months, me and about 50 other guys are down here on this work assignment. Now had this experience been a lot better I would have recommended boomer jacks to all 50 guys that I am with and yes we do all hang out. That's $10 just cost you 50 individual orders. I'll recommend elsewhere.
This was husband and I first time coming to BoomerJacks and it was awesome in Arlington, Tx. Patty was a exceptionally good. She was the best waitress that we could have experienced on our first time coming here for dinner. She was very attentive and the food was delicious!! We will definitely be back soon. Thanks Patty for your excellent service.
Wings were teeny tiny! The chicken from the wings was brown and dry. Ordered a chicken salad and the chicken breast was OBVIOUSLY DRY and overcooked!!! Everything from the appetizers to the main entre was cold. Bananas in the banana pudding were brown and tasted sour. The pudding was runny. Waited forever to get our food. Nothing was freshly cooked. Overall the food was beyond disgusting!!! Will not go back nor recommend! Waste of money!
Good seating, Slow night, Drinks were decent pricing. Waitresses are pretty and very nice. RETURN THE KARAOKE machine or the TOUCHTUNES MACHINE so the music people enjoy can return. PRIME REALESTATE LOCATION. Plenty of parking, plan ahead or face the wait time.
