This brunch spot is definitely a hidden gem. My husband and I are BIG food critics and we didn't find not ONE flaw in the food. EVERYTHING was so delicious. A few takeaways the menus posted here on Google are outdated. We visited on 6/24/22 and the menu looks totally different. Food selection was 80% the same as the current one. They do not have standard hashbrowns they have another option for them which is FAR MORE DELICIOUS it's like potatoeS chunks covered in a creamy cheese with bites of jalapeno and onions. Be aware their chicken and waffle with the pepper next to it is HOT. They use some type of spicy batter for the chicken it was delicious but my husband couldn't hang because he doesn't like spicy food. When you walk in you choose your own table then you go order at the counter after viewing the menu at your table. Be sure to ask for a drink because nothing automatically comes with a drink. I wish they would've offered us a drink or told us the drinks are self served by the fountain. After My husband placed our order he came back to the table and sat down and I was like where's our water and he was like that's a good question they didn't mention drink. We looked around and spotted a self serve fountain with no cups. My husband had to go back to the counter to ask for cups for water. Although the food was A1 the restaurant really should think about relocating because the AC doesn't work inside. It's EXTREMELY hot inside. I rarely sweat and I was literally sweating on my face just sitting there waiting on my food. I'm 30 years old medium build and I felt like an overweight person sitting sweating for no reason. I will order food TOGO going forward because I can't bare that heat. We were like the only 3 parties inside the building we came in and it was really slow which we liked. My fear is the cook is sweating profusely over our food in the back given how hot it was.Everyone was fanning themselves with the menu or constantly whipping their forehead. I drank so much water before my food came out to stay cool. I also wet some napkins with my water to place on my forehead.
They took my order at 1:30. Cheesesteak and sweet tea. The sweet tea was empty, I told the staff, no biggie. About 15 minutes later when I went to fill my cup, still no sweet tea. The guy at the order counter told me they were out of sweet tea for the day, they do not make anymore. They close at 3 PM, but the place is packed, every table full. It was that way when I came in. It is sad this establishment cares so little about it's customers experience.
Very nice, CLEAN, and casual environment. Everyone was very attentive and pleasant. Also very helpful! The menu is filled with amazing options! I had a very hard time choosing a meal! The nice young lady that took my order was very helpful and patient with me! I ordered the Cajun Omelette and an order of pancakes with strawberries on the side along with the street potatoes. Very very goodt! Glad I found this spot. Will definitely frequent here as often as I can.
I’ve been passing this place for years and I finally stopped. The chicken & waffles were absolutely delicious. I also ordered some grits and they were delicious too. Thanks for the great customer service and I will return…
Want an amazing place to go for awesome breakfast items ? This is the place.Love all the variety of items on the menu, and the quality of the goods. So delicious and filling. The team always treats you like a VIP, they are always there when you need it. The atmosphere is casual, but modern, with lots of references to NYC.The only downside is coffee, the drip coffee is ok, but I don't go there for the coffee, I love the food.Get the Philly Omelette, the Chicken shawarma omelette, the Chicken and Waffles. Those are my go to items. If you decide not to get the specials, you can make your own , order à la carte! We love this place and we will be back again.
Owner Omar is a great host and the food is delish!!!!
This place is THE brunch place. We absolutely loved this place. The fries were seasoned perfectly - best set of fries I’ve ever had. The chocolate chip banana pancakes were *chef’s kiss* it wasn’t super sweet to me, so it was a wonderful eating experience. Our entrees were very filling and very tasty. We did have to wait a few minutes before we were seated, but this place is totally worth the wait. 10/10. I highly recommend this place wholeheartedly. We now have more reasons to visit my hometown of Arlington more often hah.
This spot was FUN! Upon walking in we were greeted by brothers Shakur and Shareef, the energy these young men have is infectious! They are bright, fun , and a pleasure to talk with! They recommended a few dishes, and spoke highly of the food, restaurant, and experience there @ Bay 34th!The food was good, met expectations, however I do feel like the portion sizes aren’t the largest, and you would maybe want to order something to go with your meal. But that definitely depends on your appetite.Would I return? More than likely yes! I would order something different, obviously. Try more of their menu, and enjoy the atmosphere @ Bay 34th!
Fantastic food, great service. The teens loved their food and ate every bite. Staff is very attentive. Coffee is great. Highly recommend as a stop in Arlington.
Phenomenal food with excellent service. Will definitely come back every time I'm in town. Cajun Benny and chicken and waffles are fire!
