An employee greeted us and offered the bar or dining area. We chose a table in the bar area. The employees were polite. But, as we sat there, waiting about 10 minutes or so, for someone to come to our table, we noticed 3 full melting cocktails on the table next to us, as if those people had walked out. There were hardly any customers in bar area. An employee finally came with menus but we had already taken the menus from the table to one side of us that had not been cleared off. He asked us what we'd like to drink but the guy seemed to not know what a Pink Cadillac or a Cosmopolitan was. We ordered our cocktails and the waiter went to get them. A few minutes later, he came back to the table to ask if I wanted a martini gin or martini liquor. Again, after another few minutes, he called out to us from about 20 feet or so asking what the drink was. I hollered back to him, Cosmopolitan. Then as we decided to leave, the other man that had been behind the bar, walked out of the bar area looking down at his cell phone. We must've sat there about 15 minutes with out waters or drinks. I think the employees really need some serious training.
My folks were in town and wanted Applebee's because the one in their's (San Angelo) closed some years back. I hadn't been to one in a few myself so it was nostalgic all-round. I had to get the quesadilla burger when I saw it still on the menu, and yes it still tastes like it did in 2008, delicious lol. They had $5 margarita specials going and they were huge for the price. Would I go back? Nah, but if my folks wanted to go I wouldn't mind tagging along ;)
Service was awesome, which is unheard of in the current environment. There were plenty of employees end they were all laughing, helping each other, really enjoying themselves. We had 3 or 4 different people check on us, in addition to two managers. Food was solid as always. Management here is doing it right!
I use to dine here frequently in my younger years and the service/food was superb, sadly over the years the service and food have hit rock bottom. The appetizers were luke warm(not even like 3 minutes in a microwave hot) and the alcoholic drinks were not mixed correctly(one of the bartenders left more foam in a glass than beer). Their new item which was fries with cheese and bacon was over fried and near inedible. This is more of my professional look at a business but most of the workers I saw were out of uniform.I don't know if it's just like this late at night or in general but those are some of the reasons I gave it 1 star. Also I didn't do this review after just one visit, just so I could make sure it wasn't just this one time or just me. I sincerely hope that they can improve the service and food since my family and I have been to this location for several years.
The manager I believe his name was Christian was very accommodating and friendly answered all my questions and took time to make us feel welcome. The food was good and at a reasonable price. Very satisfied with the experience there.
Went for dinner got seated a table for 5, Server was very rude tonight 02-5-22 he came brought us silverware with brunette hair wrapped around the napkins ewwww! I told him so he took them away said he would bring more it took him 30 minutes to come back with our drinks & he brought the same silverware back with that hair wrapped around the napkins, it had been 45 minted then we got up & just walked out. And the thing is they were not busy smh. We won’t be back, disgusted customers!!
Beware birthday free dessert even thou it says any dessert translates to only the brownie bits………. Wow just sayin………….
Our order was not correct. The chicken wraps that we ordered did not have chicken on it, if it did then thin sliced lunch meat would be larger. We brought this to manager's attention. We were brought out a piece of grilled chicken that we thought was the chicken that was supposed to be in the wrap. Come to find out we were charged for it. The staff was too busy talking to a couple behind us and the service for our table was severely lacking. This is the 3rd time we have gone to this location and had the same type of bare minimal service. I'm starting to think it's due to our ethnicity, because everyone else that is not our experticity was getting prompt service and the servers were going to their table every 5 minutes as opposed to the total of for visits to our table Within the hour that we were there.
O boy where do I start, My food was Cold my potatoes was dry , My server was high and moving very slow body language was off and she tak to you like she talking to her homie on the streets .It was nasty in here , The manager did come around and ask was everything ok, I told her NO!! she did fix my ticket and I told her I'll never be back
The wait wasn't that bad, and we was seated quickly. Our Waiter was nice with a good sense of humor, and food can out fast after ordering. It was hot, delicious, and the drinks we're the BOMB!
