Super disappointed with my visit here. I had read the owner's polite responses to reviews which made me want to come here to support that kind of business.Unfortunately my burger was massively undercooked. I actually eat steak rare but ground beef is a whole different issue with food safety, even so this burger was not done. I mentioned it to the waitress who was very polite, but no refund offered. However, they did offer to recook the burger which I declined as I was full from the chili fries.I'd love to support businesses that are polite like this. But I can't honestly recommend people visit a restaurant where the burgers, the mainstay of their cooking, are so undercooked unfortunately.
Al’s new place on Fielder is a longer drive for us but I like how much brighter and open it is.My go-to is the cheeseburger basket, consistently good each time as are the fries.Above all, the service can’t be beat. We get served by the same friendly waitresses most times. Speaks to how well they are taking care of their staff and maintaining a positive work environment. Proud to support them.
I've heard that Al's Hamburgers made some delicious hamburgers so I've been wanting to try them out ever since they opened. Joshua our waiter took very good care of us. The cheeseburger was delicious and the fries were out of sight. There not frozen but actually cut fresh every day. Joshua made sure we had enough ketchup and anything else we wanted. He didn't wait for our drinks to get empty before refilling our glasses. He even refilled our drinks to take with us and made sure we had to go boxes so we could take what we didn't eat with us. He had a great attitude and a friendly personality. We will be sure to go back to Al's Hamburgers again.
Nice and casual, and man. The burgers are great. Also, the onion rings were pretty good too. Oh by the way, you need to get the pecan pie.I like it because it was casual, not crowded and you got your food right away. They weren't kidding about how good the food was. I had the Al's spicy burger, basically jalapenos cheese, bacon, seasonings, onions, mushrooms and tomato lettuce. All so good. Highly recommend itThe regular cheeseburger look really good too and we had sweet potato fries to come with it.Did we go back, of course we will. Looking forward to it
I have been here a few times. The first time, I thought this may have been the best burger I have ever eaten but the last time I was there, the food was off, service was off, and there certainly was a lack of a crowd. Could be a reason.
The food is good, but they do not give you a lot for the price. Seems to be more of a older crowd that eats here. First time I had the Philly cheese steak it was very good. With a side of chili cheese fries. The fries seemed hand cut, and maybe homemade chilli ( not sure), with onions. The portion size of the chili fries left me wanting more. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the portion size was small.
Josh was our server. I had the Al's Spicy Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. Very tasty and a good spiciness flavor. Lots to choose from so take your time and your appetite to Al's Burgers!
Al's has been around for years; Just now at a different location off of Randol Mill and Fielder street.I've never ate breakfast here but decided on a Meat Lovers Omelet.I gotta tell you this was a crazy good omelet! Five stars all the way.Service was great as well.Check em out!

You want an old fashioned burger with the right fixings and the perfectly fried sides, look no further. Al's has been an Arlington establishment for 60 odd years and is no surprise why it still stands strong. The place is filled with friendly faces and the service is fantastic! I got my meal in about 5 minutes and the burger was perfectly cooked. The onion rings were golden fried to perfection.I had the Al's Spicy Big burger. A 1/3lb patty with grilled onions and jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno bacon(it's so good) and the regular toppings with onion rings.I wish I had a picture for y'all but my will wasn't strong enough to hold on for a picture.10 out of 10 would recommend!!
