Inconsistent timings and hours. First time we heard about the restaurant and carried out, everything was delicious and we really liked it, it was good food, decent prices, and local. Second time we wanted to go to Al Rayan, they were closed on a Tuesday and they changed their hours on Google, The third time we went, again great food. Since then we have tried to order food 3 times only to find they have changed their hours and closed. Last time I checked they closed on Tuesday and Thursday, and opened the rest of the week from 10 Am - 9 Pm, I went yesterday, Monday at 7:45 Pm, they were closed. Today I checked and they have again adjusted their times to 11 Am - 9 Pm. On their front door it says 10 Am - 10 Pm. Calling them is pretty useless as the call only goes through 1 out of 10 times. Their online ordering system is also unreliable. Just a very disorganized business.Review update:Since writing this review my family has ordered multiple times. We now order in person so there are not any misunderstandings of what's ordered or if they are open. Food remains consistently good and is a family favorite. They are now more consistently open and have adjusted their timings online to only be closed on Tuesday. They have also removed their timing on the door so it no longer states the wrong timings. I have changed the star rating to more accurately describe my family's enjoyment of Al Rayan.
I am glad that, I found this little place for Mediterranean food. It was amazing my wife and brother in law went in got the Kafta beef, mix grill bowls and I got the falafel sandwich. Everything was full of flavor and each bite got better and better. I'm definitely coming back to try the other menu items.Keep up the good work. Because the food is good. One of my new favorites for Mediterranean food.
The food was fantastic!! Huge portions, fresh and flavorful! Our orders came out pretty quick too. The service was good and the restaurant is clean. I absolutely would recommend this place for good Mediterranean food.
We have been to many Mediterranean restaurants but they always ok. Last minute we came across this place and WOW. Food is cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Huge portion sizes. The menu was put together with good thought; easy to choose from. Pricing is affordable. We will be back. Best part is the food is cooked on firewood!! Highly recommend!!!
Ordered online & the food was ready super fast. Staff were friendly & the food was out of this world amazing! Really delicious lamb & beef too-- some of the BBQ joints around here should take notes from these guys! The bread was wonderful & the fire-grilled veggies and tasty garlic sauce were just the icing on the char-grilled cake. This was our first time eating here but it certainly won't be the last.
What a place to go! Clean and yummy food. Good value. Staff were very friendly! Love the Jordan City large print photo on the wall. Quality of food was great! Highly recommended! 5 stars! See the consistent reviews.
Ordered a Greek salad and what I got was a watery/gritty salad. You could tell lettuce was not fresh at all. I also ordered a chicken shawarma arabi and I could tell the chicken was not fresh/hot. It was probably sitting out there for a good bit cut and to the side until they made a sandwich out of it or something. I asked for thahni sauce instead of the garlic Mayo. Well they didn’t put the sauce in a container and by the time I got home it was already soaked up by my fries. So disappointing. The cucumbers/feta chz/olives on the salad were fresh though.
This food was so delicious OMG! The kababs are out if this world. Its hard to find good authentic food these days but Al Rayan hit it right on the nail. I had the beef and chicken kababs. The meat and rice was cooked to perfection. I especially loved the sauce and plus the charred veggies were icing on the cake.
Best chicken swarma I have had since moving from Michigan. No complaints here. Order is always ready in 10 minutes or less. Small place with food that packs BIG taste. I will continue eating here on a regular.
A small local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! Definitely a go to place when you are in the Arlington area. They have a great variety to choose from & side dishes are delicious as well.
