Ms. Asia is easily one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen in any WaffleHouse!! Greeting every single customer with a “Good morning!”, letting them know they will make them a place to sit quickly, even helping us when my Dad was a little dizzy and got us an OJ before we sat down!!The food as always is phenomenal and we love traveling and eating at different Waffle Houses!Someone get this woman a raise because is busting her butt every minute she is here!! ❤️❤️You’re lucky I got a picture of the food before we devoured it lol
Aileen was a great waitress and Tammy the Tornado held down the grill for the entire place almost single-handedly. The staff all seemed to know each other well and have a good time and a good rapport with each other, which made for an enjoyable experience.I had standard diner breakfast fare: eggs, toast, and hash browns. Every element was made fresh and cooked perfectly (go Tammy the Tornado!), the coffee was standard, but good - expected it to be sub par but it was a solid cup that did the trick just fine.Waffle House is a chain (and a budget-oriented chain, at that) so expectations should be low, but I'm happy to say that even with few expectations I had a good meal and enjoyed the time. Well done, Amarillo team!

Server named Asia was absolutely great at her job and we didnt have to wait on refills a single time. Food was tasty. Very friendly staff while we were there.

Absolutely amazing staff. That franchise location was ran like a well-oiled machine those women did an amazing job. They got the food out quickly the food was amazing. Just the way I remember it and the young lady. Who was our waitress you could tell she was having a rough day but she did not let that get her down and she treated each and every customer that came to the door like they were family. She greeted everyone and every table that she had she was friendly and kind.
We absolutely love this place!! Especially on Tuesdays!! The girls there are so awesome and watching and listening to their banter takes you back to good ole days when people were courteous and inviting like your family. And don't get me started on the food!! It's amazing. The cook knows what she is doing watching her is like magic. We love it and stop there everytime we are in Amarillo. Our visits are mainly for depressing doctor visits but the Waffle House makes them a lot more endurable. Thank you Tuesday ladies!!!!
The service was great. As busy as it was, our waitress was friendly, funny, and attractive. However , sausage and hashbrowns were still cooked too fast and undone. I'm officially done with Waffle Houses. On the search for a new breakfast spot for the next couple months.
They were understaffed when I went to eat breakfast there with my wife last Friday. This led to them forgetting and not cooking or serving an ordered side item, but the server made it right. The real problem is the fact that I was double charged. The POS card reader was very slow and seemingly having issues. I was charged once for the meal and a second time for the meal with my $5 tip added. It doesn't matter to me if the problem was the electronics. It matters that my pocket book took an extra hit, and they could update or fix their junk.
We had a horrible experience at this location 2 days ago, it was disgusting, so disappointing, we found hairs in our food even in the water, HOw is that possible!? What made things worse , the cook comes in and says to the manager "I'm not feeling good at all, my stomach is bad". She said, "well keep working " after a few minutes the cook was vomiting in the back, everyone could hear it. They keep acting like nothing was wrong, the health department should get involved.
