I cannot say enough about the food here. Get your behind some gator bites, and some cat bites. Also, get you some sour pickle beer from wally world. That combo is so good.. it'll make your great grandma's grand neice slap you with a withered chancla, and you'd still ask for seconds.

Being from Louisiana, I’m always skeptical of out-of-state “Louisiana-style” restaurants. This place didn’t disappoint, in fact, it shocked me. I had the seafood platter. I’m quite sure the fried oysters were in the top three of the best I’ve ever had. The fish and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The only thing I’d change (and it’s not a negative comment) would be to add a hint of cayenne to the corn meal, just to add a tiny bit of kick……nothing overbearing. Our state is known to have a bit of heated seasoning, which is hard to beat. Overall, it was a great meal.

Had the Vodoo Pasta, very tasty and served quickly. The Vodoo sauce has a great flavor and the the pop of the sweet bell peppers takes it to another level. The dish was loaded with andouille sausage and shrimp. Rather enjoyed the Gumbo sampler as well, all very good. The beignet is the perfect way to finish off the meal. Highly recommend stopping by for some good Cajun food.

Just off 40 and worth the detour. Service was top notch and friendly. Seafood gumbo, catfish and pasta dishes were awesome. They bring mini samples of different cajun dishes and every one was awesome, wish we'd had room for dessert.

Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff, fast and excellent. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!

Food was amazing! Staff was friendly and happy to be here to serve. Really don’t know why this place was completely packed. It should be every day!

The taste is genuine but not exceptional. The service is good and the portions may not be proportional to your expectations but I found them generous. There is a sampler for new customers. I strongly recommend that you try the sauces before settling for an entree. If you're an experienced Cajun gourmand or a newbie you will not be surprised when your plate is served.

Fish portions are small, and my order had no fries, so I had to return. The taste is ok, but I wasn't impressed. I'll continue to abstain until the next time I go to Dallas or find something more comparable to Pappadaux.

Meh, no idea how this restaurant made the top 10 in Amarillo. After looking it up, this is also a chain. The crab bites were okay, the shrimp and grits were bland and the blackened shrimp weren’t. The Voodoo pasta was actually pretty good and the best bite of the night. The Cat-oufee just lacked seasoning but it was okay. Wait staff was friendly and restaurant was overall clean, but no paper towels in mens restroom. Not horrible, just not great either.

The unlimited gumbo is amazing! I had the seafood gumbo and wow it is exceptional. I also have had the catfish and it is another phenomenal food item. I have tons of family and friends that eat here and it is highly recommended. The owner has checked on me every time that I eat in here and I’ll be back for sure.
