We had a great time looking around at everything here. Flavor of the all the food was fantastic! Server was nice but she had so much to do that it was hard for her to stop and ask you how you were doing. She had forgotten our refills. We had sat there for over half an hour before anyone came to us to even get drinks. I believe it's a great and busy place just understaffed. Prices were pretty high but Steak was so tender and juice it was worth it lol

truly love those place!! been here at least 10 times in the last yr and a half... steaks are always cooked to perfection, service is on point... love the fried mushrooms and their tomahawk is worth writing home about!!

I was here alone, the waiting time was 30 minutes. They kept me waiting for two hours. When I asked about it they were very rude to me. I guess the don't like people who travel on their own

We weren’t going to go as it seemed very tacky and touristy but glad we did! Huge portions, lots to see/do whilst waiting for a table. The server accidentally cleared all our food whilst we chatted to someone doing the steak challenge and brought back double of everything we had!! Food was ok, decent prices and good drinks

Stopped in with our three kids at about 4:15 pm on a Saturday. We had about a 40 minute wait but there are games for the kids to play and a fun gift shop. Our server was very helpful and friendly and we watched three people attempt them steak dinner challenge while we were there. The rolls are delicious, salads were good and fresh and the waffle fries were good. My kids tried steak for the first time and loved it, and my husband’s ribeye was a perfect medium and he enjoyed it (he’s picky about steak). Kids meals come inside (literally) a free cowboy hat that hat they get to take home, which mine loved. The only downsides were that our meal took quite awhile to come out and my chicken fried steak was a little charred on the bottom, giving it a slightly bitter flavor. I’m 100 percent sure they would have remade it if I had asked, but we had already been there a long time and were ready to go. The price was reasonable for what we ordered and we came away full and happy - will return someday!

We honestly only added the Big Texan to itinerary for the novelty of the stop. We were blown away at how amazing the food and service were. The kids had a lot of fun with the games and live music. This was probably in our top two favorite stops on our trip. We will definitely be back!

It was about a 30 minute wait to be seated but you can play games, have a drink at the bar, walk the patio or visit the gift shop, so it actually wasn’t too bad.We were seated upstairs and had a great view of the restaurant, and cooks, as well as the raised center for those willing to take on the 72oz challenge.I started off with some fried pickles and then got the 8oz center cut with cheesy broccoli and a Cesar salad, which was VERY filling. I didn’t get to try any dessert but they have quite a bit to choose from. All in all, a great experience, awesome atmosphere, friendly servers, and top notch food. Definitely stop and try if you’re in the area.

Alex Armstrong gave us the big Texas welcome and we could have not been more appreciative. Thank you Alex.

Was so awesome! Friendly staff! They even have 2 guys that come around and sing ? country music! Beautiful and huge! Highly recommended it!

This steakhouse is lively, lots of entertainment. The roaming cowboy singers, and the people on stage attempting to eat the 72oz steak. We dined in a corner booth, perfect blend of the high energy restaurant and low key enough to enjoy conversation and EXCELLENT food. I ordered the char-broiled salmon. Which comes with 2 sides I ordered the baked sweet potato and side salad with their house made Ranch. The salmon was farmed, had a good flavor from the grill. I don’t love farmed fish so I didn’t eat much. It was served with a lime wedge, dredged in seasoning. The salad with house made Ranch was exactly what you’d expect. I don’t think you can go wrong ordering house made Ranch in Texas. The salads were crisp and fresh. And the sweet potato was moist served with butter and brown sugar on the side. If I am ever in the Amarillo area again, I will dine here again. Next time I’ll just order salad and a few of their scrumptious sides. Vegetarian is extremely doable but Vegan not so much.
