It may be pricey, but so worth it for as much as they serve and how delicious their food is
I already started eating before I took the picture. overall a good place to eat. chicken fried rice, pad thai and wonton soup all very good. they didn't have what i usually would order in dallas but I was happy with what I ordered. the staff is super nice too. you folks complaining about the credit card surcharge need to get over yourselves. the prices here are very reasonable compared to other thai restaurants. they could easily raise the prices. support your local small businesses.
Haven't been here in a while because I had a bad experience once but decided to give them a try again. I looked on the menu on google and according to that what we ordered was about 8.50 a piece so I thought total would be close to 46 with tax. I get there and the total was 58 and some change... I thought that was ridiculous. There is a sign saying they charge a certain percentage on cards but its only about 3 percent. So as I looked further into the Facebook page and stuff was skyrocketed on that menu. We get home all all meals had a small amount of chicken with a ton of rice and definitely not worth 58 dollars ?. I don't think I will be back here the portions are not worth the price at all. I think this issue would be fixed if the Google menu was updated with current prices so people don't get shocked when they hear their total.( which they fail to give you the total when you do a call in order). Im typically not one to give bad reviews because the food was ok just not worth the money with what you get.
We had a call in order ordered 2 beef pad Thai and got home we live bout 25 min away and was very disappointed the food was tasteless …beef was burned and noodles way over cooked I called the restaurant and they were apologetic and said they had a new cook ..took my name down for a credit on both meals … called back bout a month later and they told me nobody remembered our order and they hadn’t a new cook in awhile ?hmmmm and they couldn’t find my name anywhere …i told her I talked to a man and she said we only have 2 guys here and they dnt remember… very disappointed becuz we have eaten there bfore and it was good I understand things happen …but very disappointed
This restaurant was a disappointment. Found dining room dirty and bleak. Floor and tables not clean, although there was plenty of staff, large room with old bare tables and chairs absolutely no decor other than stacks of boxes of restaurant supplies. Pork wonton and egg rolls were overcooked just shy of burned. Ordered seafood dish and chicken shrimp dish with fried rice. Dishes were watery. Chicken shrimp dish (3 shrimp) was served on rice sitting in lake of watery broth. Seafood dish served with rice on side, not fried, seafood in lake of brown bland runny sauce. If we lived in Amarillo we would not return.
Bad meal made worse by surprise 3.5% credit card surcharge which in Texas is ILLEGAL if not posted clearly on price list at time of order. and it must only be the actual credit card cost which surely is not 3.5%. They have a tiny sign where you pay and you thus find out after the fact. So I took back that portion of my tip to the owner. Food was terrible. Old rice, Old beef, dry chicken, way too salty, small portions, hair in my wife's food, and not even close to Thai flavor. I might have given them a second chance but the 3.5% credit card surcharge did me in. Customers are hard to get. If I owned this place I'd try to keep the ones I got by giving them decent Thai food and not gouging them on fees they should be paying themselves. I'll never return. Do youself a favor and go somewhere else for flavor.
