The best BBQ in the whole Panhandle. Mike works alongside his amazing crew and the food is smoked to perfection. The prices are fair and atmosphere is fantastic. There is a patio that welcomes your pets as well. Mike's is the perfect place for lunch, dinner, or to have cater your event. If you haven't been to Spicy Mike's then you haven't experienced real BBQ. Don't forget to treat yourself to some homemade strawberry cake too!
Service was amazing! The portions were large! The ribs were the best I've had from a restaurant. If you leave hungry it's your own fault! A two meat plate will easily feed two people. Definitely worth the price.
This is the best bbq place I have been to. The first time we went, the hospitality was out of this world. When the chef found out we were from San Diego he came out to greet us. He also gave us some of his famous ribs and they were delicious. These pics are from our second time we went. Received the same hospitality. Recommend this place to everyone
The wife and I came to spicy Mikes for we seen reviews online so we showed up an hour before closing. We got the three meat plate and shared. We got the link sausage pulled pork and brisket and the taste was great. The barbecue sauce was good I was hoping for the BBQ sauce to stand out. The regular was a little too sweet for me and the spicy didn't stand out as much as I would liked it to be. The coleslaw was ok, mac and cheese wasn't anything to write home about. But their pintos was well worth it and I would advise anyone to get the pintos. Would I visit again... Yes
Total loss for words. This place is amazing. I can’t wait until I come back and try everything they have. The brisket was juicy the ribs fell off the bone. I tried some of the green chili sausage and it was great. The atmosphere is what you want from a BBQ place and the staff was super helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for an all around BBQ joint, you’ve found it.
So good it makes me want to move to Amarillo. Some of best food that I've ever put in my mouth. Totally amazing place. All I wanted when passing through Texas was a real Texan food experience and couldn't have been happier with my choice. Thanks spicy Mike and crew.

Neat Texas atmosphere, very friendly & good food. Got a lot of food & not too expensive. I had the single meat plate...which I had the sausage with green chile cheese which was really good but a little greasy but yummy especially with their bbq sauce! Plate had 3 sides(only wanted 2 sides which I was allowed ...greenbeans which were ok others would probably love them & loaded baked Potatoe which was good & Texas toast(which really good) overall a good experience with great friends.
The food here, including the sides was extremely peppery. Heavily peppered with coarse black pepper. I realize the name is Spicy Mike's, but there are other ingredients besides black pepper that can add spice without overpowering the food with their flavor. I couldn't even finish the green beans because of all the pepper in them. I'm usually a BBQ fiend, but I'm so not a fan of Spicy Mike's.
