This was a great place for us to stop to eat on our road trip. It is located on the route 66 antique shops area which makes it cool already. It is pet friendly and we opted to eat here because we brought Fido with us. We started out on one of the patio tables. It looked like it was going to rain and we requested a table that wouldn't get wet. We got served our food and in my third bite, the sweet waitress came out to tell us to come inside WITH THE DOG. Luckily it wasn't too packed or bothersome to other eaters. She told us to grab our plates and she took Fido inside. She set us up, yet again for the third time. Food was pretty good. My son got a plate of ribs and devoured them. Super tender. Hubby got fried catfish and he liked it. I loved the chicken tender plate. Well served and super crispy. But the most special treatment was for Fido. He got a piece of bacon for behaving excellent inside. There's a jukebox which makes it even better.

Food was good.....service...not so much. When we arrived we were the ONLY table.By the time a waitress appeared, 3 more tables sat down. We were the LAST ones to be waited on....even tho we were the first ones to arrive. Waitress " forgot" to order our appetizer.....so no appetizer for us. We told her to forget it because we didn't get a chance to ask about it until she brought our food...which was delicious!

I’m not understanding the hype on this place, I got the chicken fried steak and it was so bland! I also got the fired pickles and they were so overly cooked that it just tasted like the pickle wasted even there. The service sucked considering I was picking up a TOGO order. Literally had to follow the waiter around tho get my ticket because she was talking instead of just handing me my ticket so I could just leave. Not worth it.

Awesome...Live music, great food.

Smokey Joe’s…more like Sloppy Joe’s. The food was a mess. Not hot, potatoes were hard and gritty (like sand but inside) and the nachos were completely void of toppings and not worth the crazy cost. I feel like I paid $35 for $8 worth of food.Bartenders were nice and there was a cool band

This food was killer, their service was amazing, and the ambience was everything and more. I recommend going here before anywhere else in the area if you go down Route 66.

The chicken fried steak was very good. The cobbler was microwaved not fresh. I ate inside bar and for only having three tables in use, it was very loud. The kitchen staff sent wrong cobbler the first time. It took over 40 minutes to get the right cobbler. CFS, one beer, one sweet tea and cobbler for one person not including tip was almost $30. I do NOT recommend this place.

Never had a bad meal there. Good service too!

Great spot for ice cold beer, live music and dogs! Linda is amazing. She took the best care of us and Tiger! We will always stop in when in Amarillo.

Great pulled pork sandwich! We had the coleslaw and beans too. Both were wonderful! Fun atmosphere! Have the pulled pork sandwich you won't be sorry!!!
