Local brewery and restaurant worth the stop. Looks to be part of a downtown Amarillo revitalization movement. Younger local crowd that gives the place a trendy vibe. The food, the beer and surprisingly the cocktails are all really top notch. The place has a beautiful open 1st floor bar, a huge outdoor beer garden and fun rooftop patio. Our server was great and had lots of stories worth hearing. All in all a great place to relax on a summer night.
The food is amazing, had their hot chicken sandwich. Chicken was NOT dry! Our server Logan did a great job, checking on us our drinks were constantly refilled. Would given 5 stars but our service that we had at the roof top bar was not 5 stars. My family and I sat at the bar & waited 20 minutes before we were even greeted. When the bartender Abigail finally spoke to us it was “do y’all know what y’all want”…. we had never been to this place. Did not offer specialty drinks, no Hi welcome in I’ll be right with you guys.
After hiking all day in Palo Duro with our dogs, we needed something to eat with a dog friendly space and Six Car was it. Their outdoor patio is great. Lots of space between the tables so we could sit with the dogs and not bother other diners. We started with some beer cheese fries. Very good, but we think next time we’d leave off the pico. Husband had the short rib grilled cheese. He loved it. On the side he had the Parmesan truffle fries and he loved those too. I had the angry bird grilled cheese. It was okay. Very oily/greasy. I probably wouldn’t order it again. I got a side salad which was really good and a nice size.
We were staying at the Barfield Hotel, and so when we asked a local where a good place to eat was...they simply turned and pointed across the street and said, "right there y'all". So we all turned and "moseyed" right across that brick street. So glad we did, cus this place is legit. First off, it's a brewery, and lots of great local choices of brew to choose from. Loved the interior design. An industrial vibe with very high ceilings, lots of windows, small but cool bar, an upstairs area, cool tunes floating down from above, and plenty of patio tables too. Our server was quite friendly, very attentive and smiled often! Check out that menu...yeah, I thought so. Damn good looking right? All 4 of us loved our food choices, along with the beers and pita chips with hummus dip. Real nice place with very tasty food. We enjoyed ourselves here.
Brandon Carlo was our waiter - this guy is ridiculously on point. He offered suggestions, had a sense of humor, knocked a drink off of our tab because we didn't like it. Food here at brunch is spectacular. Vibe is great.
It’s been a while since we’ve eaten here and it was very good! We had brunch. I ordered a hash bowl and they were very accommodating to give me scrambled eggs instead of the meat. It was very filling and tasty. My husband liked his chicken sandwich also. All of the beer/wine was good and prices reasonable. (We spent about 50$ for 2 entrees and 4 drinks.) We love the patio too. Great spot for Sunday brunch.
Went for the first time for supper last night. Was an amazing experience. The 6 Car beer was fantastic, far superior than other competitors locally. The food was so freshly cooked, it was too hot to immediately eat. I love the friendly staff and the environment. I will be returning!
Two stars based on service. The place was busy but not slammed. We were seated right away and waited for a while for somebody to greet us. When the waitress finally did come to the table we asked to sample a couple of things which took a while then finally ordered a beer which also took a while. We asked for water which we never got. We had pizza and a burger. The food was great and the beer was really tasty! However, we only got one beer and we're never offered anything else. I had to go up and ask for our bill and go up again to pay our bill. This was our first time and I don't know that we'll be coming back.
Had brunch there today! awesome! Best scrambled eggs I have ever had in a restaurant. Service was excellent even though they were short staffed! Everything we had was excellent! Can’t wait to go back again!
On a long road trip since Jan 15th, and this is one of our favorite stops as far as food. We went for breakfast on a Sunday and I had the vegan omelet, and it was delicious. Fantastic service, and extremely kind staff
