We were looking for a new place to eat and a good steak, we decided to try Red River Steakhouse and we were not disappointed! Faith was our server and she was awesome! She was so nice and patient as we decided what to eat, she was quick with refills and the free cobbler at the end of our meal. She had multiple tables and we were still taken care of the whole time. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were amazing too!
Driving through on the way back from Colorado and we normally stop at Big Texan each year. When they had a 2 hour wait we searched and found this restaurant…. Who really is going to wait with kids at 8 pm to be seated for dinner at 10pm… nope! Honestly our group enjoyed the food here more than we have at Big Texan in the past. Fast seating, good service, all homemade food, 3.99 margaritas all day everyday, and free cobbler with dinner… we found our new steakhouse when coming through Amarillo! Thanks for a great dinner !
Went for the Wednesday Meatloaf Special! Large portion of Meatloaf it was Delicious! Also had the Baked Sweet Potato and Mashed potatoes! The Sweet Potato was cooked perfect but was not very big in size! I enjoyed the ambiance it was Texas themed nice touch! Our waiter was spot on very professional! I recommend this restaurant!
First off the appetizers were excellent ( fried pickles, fried zucchini, fried jalapeños).. all were the best I have ever had ( crisp and Lightly breaded). The prime rib was excellent, juicy, tender, and didn't add any toppings .. ate it just like it came! Delicious!
Mmm, so good! I had been wanting to try this place while visiting Amarillo. Wish I'd made it by sooner. Everything was delicious, fresh and brought out quickly. Our waiter was perfect, he kept our drinks refilled and checked on us just often enough.

Our waitress forgot to bring a drink, steak sauce, croutons for the over priced steak salad and our clobber. Loaded baked potato was hard it only had sour cream and bacon for the cost it wasn't worth it. The food wasn't very good don't recommend.
Excellent place to go that has great food and seems to be more for the locals so not as busy. Tried to go to Texas Roadhouse on ranch rodeo weekend- with a line out to the parking lot, I’m glad we were with a local couple that told us about this place! They are our #1 choice next year. Only tip I have- take the apple cobbler over blackberry, blackberry was too ‘dry’. Excellent food and great service- fun, friendly and awesome atmosphere!
