First off, the food was delicious and the waiter was polite. However, I had gone previously and was told by the front hostess they were closed and were unable to seat me. This was 10 minutes prior to closing. I went again a couple of days later and the same hostess was working. It seemed she had nothing but utter contempt at my very presence. She then proceeded to argue with me about where I was to be seated. I said twice that I would like a regular table and not the bar or high table. Annoyed, she finally "allowed" me to sit where I wanted. They were not full or even near capacity and had tables readily available. Never have I seen so much disdain for a patron who is trying to give you their money when they could go elsewhere.
First time eating here. Had a great time here with my daughter. Lots of choices on the menu.I had Aka Kani, she had Flaming Hot Cheeto Roll. Cool atmosphere, choice of couch or table to sit.Well be back with Mom next time since it's the first place in town and found that has General's chicken on the menu.
Bathrooms were filthy & smelled awful. Literally made me lose my appetite so I ordered and took my food to go. I got combination fried rice. The beef tasted weird…like it was old. This made me not even want to try the chicken. I just threw it all away. Wouldn’t recommend.
Our server was very helpful and made several suggestions cuz we were unsure. Food came to table at right time. Our food was delicious and the price was reasonable.
Corner venue, clean menu, chill and prompt service. Food seemed to be high level quality ~ just had the rice and green tea. Tea was authentic Japanese and perfectly done.
The last time I went in, the tuna tataki smelled terrible. I sent it back and stopped eating everything else because it left bad thoughts in my head, especially because it's raw seafood. I recently went back this past week and here are some things I noticed that is enough for me to never come back or recommend this place.1. Your host, whether they're younger or not.. they have tattoos so I assume they're 18 or somewhat close. They are terrible at greeting guest and it was overall an awkward experience with the three host. The host who sat us sped to the table, didnt wait for us and didnt say hello. After she dropped the menus, with the limited space, she rudely did not wait for us to sit but instead rushed back to the host stand. She didnt give my lady the right of way to go first and in doing so even bumped shoulders with her. Terrible host training.2. There were many tables open and instead decided to seat a new table literally at the table right next to us. If it were busy, it wouldn't be an issue but y'all had at least 10 tables open. If they were dirty, I'm sure you could have had your two bus boys who weren't doing anything but sitting on their phones, clean up a bit. Crazy concept, I know. It made us very uncomfortable but we aren't rude people who try and tell people how to do their jobs.3. The waitress was wrong about her knowledge on my plate and when asked she assured me I was wrong. Only to show up 15 minutes later with the remainder of my food and say, "you were right". Please, know what you're talking about and don't belittle me because I know what I ordered.4. All the menus were dirty. Very dirty. The special menu was dirty. You hire all these employees to work. Instead they sit in the view of your guest while we need things or are looking for our waitress. Very disturbing knowing how dirty everything else is. Covid cleanliness did your restaurant a favor, requiring your staff to actually keep things clean or better yet, just how it should be when you're a restaurant. Especially a seafood restaurant, you'd expect to see cleanliness.5. The rolls were flavorless and so was the filet mignon we ordered. No seasoning, no nothing. Just a straight up piece of raw meat. Very bland, boring and lacks any inspiration.6. Instead of taking care of guest, our server sat in the sushi window waiting for food to come out and for what seemed like an eternity just to ask for things we needed. You either caught them when they walked by or you'd have to wait until they came back our 15-20 minutes later with food.7. Every time I've had your food here, your fish never taste fresh and it always has a bitter, vile smell to it. I'd hate to see this restaurant shut down but the way I've seen yall digress over the years, I can only assume you're not thinking about the long term success of your restaurant.DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY!!!
Truly an amazing venue. The food was beautiful and tasted amazing. The most shocking part was the inexpensive price. Definitely going to return!
We did takeout and it was so amazing!! I ordered the sashimi dinner bento box and it was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and dine-in!
Our appetizers were good, the sushi was bland. All the rolls mostly just tasted like rice. The sashimi tacos and won tons were good, and the baked salmon was unique. The restaurant was very disorganized and took over an hour on a to go order. Overall the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.
Meh. Just meh. Everyone was friendly, miso soup was the only enjoyable thing here. I ordered the shrimp entree and the monkey balls, everything tasted like it had freezer burn. Surprised at the price of everything for it to taste so bad.
