The Coulter Street location was really good, but most of all the staff--those 2 ladies were so welcoming and just bent over backwards to accommodate me on what had been a pretty rough day. Warm, welcoming, helpful and funny. They worked so well together. Wish I had gotten their names so I could thank them publicly. Great meal, saved money and enjoyed the encounter!
If I could give zero stars I would. I was told I’d have to wait 20 minutes for an all dark 16 piece meal. That was fine with me. Except it took FORTY MINUTES!!!! They weren’t even busy!! And I had to go in and get my food myself and still had to wait! The ONLY reason they started getting my order ready is because I came inside. Girl with a long ponytail was in there eating the food as she packed it. ALL of my food was over cooked.. The ONLY thing pleasant about this experience was the girl at the window.
We have never had good service here, but we decided to try it again. We didn’t get what we ordered. The chicken was mild instead of spicy. It was extremely dry. Tasted like it had been over cooked, and cooked with old oil, or had been sitting there all day. We got macaroni and cheese instead of mashed potatoes. The macaroni was more like macaroni soup with clumps of cheese. The red beans and rice was also soupy and not good. Cole slaw and biscuits were the only things that tasted good. Called the store, they couldn’t care less. Called area manager, who did not act concerned. She did offer to refund my money, however. Will never go back to that location. Hope they close down.
A month ago we got chicken to go at the Popeyes on Coulter and when we got home the chicken was old, tough like leather and not fit eat - you could not chew it!!!! Today I had a coupon for a 14 piece family dinner - the coupon DID NOT specify tenders or chicken. I ordered chicken to go and the lady told me I could only get tenders because she couldn’t ring up chicken at that price!!! So I got the tenders and when we got home this chicken is OLD!!!! It is awful and not fit to eat!!! It has apparently been under the heat lamp all day as the chicken has turned black- it isn’t burnt just sat way too long under the lamp!!! This is absolutely frustrating!!! Never will I ever buy from this location again!! Or can recommend them to anyone!!
They must be having a hard day today. But I ordered 2 #8s spicy with the fries and 2 drinks. Wait time wasn't bad at all. But when I got our food to my husband's work place, all the Chicken strips were way over cooked, hard and dry. Over half of the strips in each meal was not even edible.
I hadn't been to Popeyes in several years, but the one thing I always did like was their rice and beans. And oh my goodness that hadn't changed. Best thing ever!!! The chicken was good as well but the rice and beans definitely has my vote!
We won't be back to this location. The chicken was dry. The fries were stale and red beans/rice no flavor. They had customers waiting for food outside drive thru. They had customers coming back for food they didn't get with their orders. I don't understand the service...they had plenty of workers.

I have been here a few times, I love Popeyes, however, this one always gets my order wrong or forgets to add something. They are always out of something or dont have anything prepared, takes way to long to get food. Really bad management
Do not go to this Popeye's. The chicken tasted awful and was old. Made us sick. Will NEVER go here ever again.
