I took my family to Lin's Grand buffet during the weekend. Spent $60 for a family of five. To me, the money was worth it comparing to the over whelmingly abundant of food(desert, snacks, stable food, grill, sushi, ice cream, and more). The varieties of food could serve almost any preferences. It an ideal place to bring a big family there without much headache of everyone preferences. It is self-service restaurant. Everyone could at least find something they like from the varieties. I would say the food quality and taste is not bad. I like to bring my family there for a relax weekend. Nobody have to worry clean up and dishes. Kids don't fuss for sharing or fighting over their favorite. It is all you can eat. Just bring your appetite for food and your story to share. For all the above reasons, I give Lin's Grand buffet a thumb up for their services.

Decent variety of foods, waitress was really nice and very attentive. I would not recommend the sushi however as 1. None of the sushi was marked and 2. being this close to the coast I would have thought they would have used real crab. It was dry as was some of their chicken items they had in other areas. I can not speak for everything, but for what I ate I would not eat there again.

A very large buffet not only serving usual Chinese offerings but they also have sushi and a grill station that will grill you a steak to your liking. One thing served at the buffet which isn't usual was crawdads

Stopped in for lunch on a very long day of driving, and all 3 of us were very satisfied with the food. Very wide range of selections, all done quite well. The chicken in all of the varieties we tried was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. We did get the impression that they deal with a lot of people who try to take advantage of them, as there were signs posted warning that no food could be taken off-site (really? Who even does that?). Their prices were higher than expected, and the cashier made no mention of the senior discount (I happened to see it on a small sign at the register just after she ran the charge on our card) which would have saved us a few dollars. Maybe we hit them on a bad day.

I have lived in Amarillo for 15 years and have patronized Lin's frequently for most of that time. It was never first quality Chinese food, but there was plenty of it and buffet price was reasonable. Since Amarillo is not a good restaurant town in general, it was a comfortable if uninspiring standby, even with the sushi so thin you could read a newspaper through it.But I will never go back again. Being a senior and very covid aware, I thought I would try it for the first time in 2 years as take-out. I was APPALLED by the the takeout container I was given. You could barely fit eight ounces of food it in. It was certainly not large enough for a dinner, even for a 70 year old senior. It came with another styrofoam bowl which may have been intended of soup or dessert. I estimate the volume of that bowl as perhaps a cup and maybe less. Since I was refused my senior discount (I was told it did not apply to take out) it would have cost about $15 for a half a dinner's worth of take-out. I refused and, since I had already paid, demanded a refund, which a very put-out and unpleasant office manager begrudgingly gave me.I realize materials and labor prices have gone up, but you can't expect customers to put up with leaving your buffet hungry, even in low-standards Amarillo. The obvious answer is a full-size container and a reasonable charge by the pound, if management is worried about the customers overstuffing it. For now, I will never enter this stingy clipjoint again.

They had a big selection. The food was all hot and tasted fresh. I enjoyed everything I tried and our waitress was amazing. If we are ever going thru again, I’d want to stop.

Me and my family of 6(2 adults 4 children) went for lunch here it not only costed 84$ but it also costed us an emergency room visit for 3 of our children and my wife due to food poisoning from eating here and the food that was supposed to be hot was not and the Lo mein noodles and egg drop soup was awful but our server did a fine job and she was very nice

Food was very cheap, warm when should have been hot. Very disappointed. The waitress was very good at her her job but so was there for the food, not the service.

This was a very clean place and the prices were very fair and reasonable. The staff were also friendly. The food we ate there was absolutely outstanding and delicious.

Very good food, large variety of vegetables, meets, fish, dessert and sodas.Large room with a lot of space between tables. The price is very generous and they have special prices for seniors.
