Crème of sum-yung guy, is usually a go-to
It’s absolutely not a Japanese Restaurant. It’s a fusion of American and Asian restaurant. Don’t like the taste of neither the tempura nor steak. Big portions. Fast and friendly service though.
Very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere. There was a long wait to get the chef to our grill, but they had been playing catch up when about 4 different tables (table is mixed groups equaling 8 people) walked in near the same time, so it was understandable. Plus, the waiters and waitresses offered free desserts and such to those who were last to arrive and, therefore, waited longest. Our chef was VERY entertaining, and the food was perfect for us.
Had to wait 1.5 hours for a table even though we were told 45 minutes. Bigger groups that came after us were seated before us. When our buzzer went off the first time another groups buzzer also went off. They chose to put more time on our buzzer and seat them instead.Hibachi chef took over 30 minutes to come over and when he did, the grill wasn't even on. So, we had to wait ANOTHER 10 to 15 minutes. No fire show like the kids were hoping for/expecting based on other Hibachi grills they have been to.Sons food never came. When I asked about it I was told the kitchen is closed so he won't be getting his food. They didn't comp us the meal even though he only got fried rice, but gave the kids free desserts. We got there at 7:15 and didn't finish eating till 10:30.Ambiance was great!Good was great! All of the wait staff and chefs were very nice.Do NOT take your kids here for dinner. You will likely be waiting way longer than what they tell you.If you do take kids I would suggest getting there at 4 or 5. Even if we don't have the kids, that's the time we will be going if we ever choose to dine here again
Birthday celebration for family. Everyone got something different. Servings were large, everyone took home leftovers. Atmosphere was great. Kids loved the experience. The only downside was the wait time for chef, we was good, when he got there.
Not knocking the taste at all, ordered steak and lobster tail. Received worlds smallest lobster. 3 little pieces. Definitely not worth the 35.00 for cost. Just buyer beware won’t make same mistake again
Waited 2 hours. I was a solo. Usually I eat at the sushi bar. But they don’t have seats there no more, and as a bonus, they took away 90% of the sushi menu. I’ll order my usual. And never come back. They had a good thing for smaller parties of 2 or less. But not no more.
If I could give this restaurant no stars, then I would. The rice was terrible and the service was even worse. No sear on the steaks and the shrimp was over cooked. I requested a refill on my drink before the hibachi “chef” arrived and didn’t receive anything until my entire party was done eating. My husband went to the kitchen to refill my drink himself. The response from our inept waiter was “my apologies.” Don’t waste your money! $180 for mediocre food and terrible service. There is so much more I could say about the “experience” but just don’t patronize this establishment is number one.
The worse sushi and stir fry food!!! The sushi was all rice, the seasoning was bland. The service was horrible. It took 2 hours to get a seat, and that was only because a couple celebrating a birthday, invited me to sit at their table. The only good part, was the bartender and the cheap drinks. The kitchen took another hour to make our dinner. The owner does not know how to staff waiters to assist guest. She uses poor excuses and seems very money hungry. The people of Amarillo don't realize how bad this food is. I've traveled the US and abroad. I've eaten very good Asian foods in Hawaii, California, and Japan. So I am well versed in the foods of Asian cuisine. I will never return!!!
Food is awesome!!!! Wait time please be patient it’s worth the wait! Now bathroom always smell bad this is why the 4 star. We have eat here about 10 times and will continue to come as time allows. This is a 3 hour drive but so worth it every time!!!
