My fiancé and I ate here to try Indian food. We had Butter Chicken Curry, Biri-Yani, Samosas with Chai Tea and Mango Las-See. The seating had a nice authentic feel to the restaurant. The staff is friendly. The chai tea was served very hot so I had to let it cool off for much time before I could really drink it. Overall we really liked the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for good authentic Indian food while they’re in Amarillo.
Stopped here traveling from AZ to IN, best Indian we’ve had in 2 years. Ordered the chicken korma and lamb biriyani. Mango lassi was great too! Great outdoor seating :)
Always such a great experience!! Awesome food, awesome atmosphere!! I am here at least 2-3 (if not more) times a month!! Staff is so nice, and very welcoming! Really has to be my favorite restaurant in Amarillo!!
Honestly, Indian food isn't really my thing but this place has done a lot to change that! I still kinda play it safe but I do thoroughly enjoy what I get. Only real complaints I've had are sometimes the chicken is a bit overcooked/dry and the spice levels can be inconsistent - though these are definitely not consistent complaints and most often when they're busy, which is perfectly understandable. Some recommendations: butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and samosas. Just a few other things of note: the staff is always nice and friendly and the dine in area is super cute and has both an indoor and outdoor section.
Located at the heart of Amarillo, food was decent if not great. Something (Indian food)is better then nothing (Indian food). Food was prepared pretty soon, there were handful of varieties in the menu. It’s a self service and drive thru restaurant. There are limited space of parking and dining. Prices were decent. Paisa vasool. Dining there was no AC , it’s fan and cooler system. Good for quick bite.
I hadn’t had Indian food since I moved back from Japan a couple years back- so this was such a treat! The staff are very nice and willing to explain food items from their menu. I got the butter chicken curry, my husband got the chicken “roll” and for my son, I got the tandoori chicken. All of which was so good! We also got the ginger mint lemonade and rice pudding. I really wish I gotten a second lemonade before leaving because it was that good! Overall great!!!
Amazing place! Great flavors and spices! Will probably go back tomorrow ? It's a walk up stand with some seating on a deck and decently enclosed to let air flow through while retaining the warmth from the heaters. There's also fans for the summer. Also, the owner is a great guy! Love supporting this place. If you're thinking about going, just do it!
Stopped on our way to Dallas! Food was good. Ordering ahead on the website recommended.
We stopped by around 3pm while driving from Denver to Austin. The look & feel was completely different from other South East Asian places. The owner & his wife was extremely cordial & quickly pointed out that mutton biriani is halal. Their service was extraordinary. Hot food came out fast. Nice crispy papad as a garnish to enjoy. We sat in the cozy gazebo & had a great family meal time. They served in nice plastic container & gave extra plates, cups upon request. Just a pleasant & different experience all around. Thank you and wish you all the best.
Absolutely amazing! My first time at this establishment but it certainly will not be my last! Unfortunately I was unable to eat-in but their dining area is such a vibe! Delicious food and amazing staff! Please try them out, you won’t be disappointed!
