I came here for breakfast around 1000 and my waitress was very attentive. She was great at making sure I had everything I needed. Now I gave three stars because I ordered a simple orange juice and I ended up with a pretty dirty cup with some of what looks like chunks from a strawberry beverage just floating in there...plus dirty silverware... Yikes. The waistress saved the day though so Other than that no other complaints!
We love Ihop, usually.Traveling almost 1000 miles we stopped @ motel couple blocks away from restaurant..Tried ordering online to be delivered, it didn't work, tried calling to place order/pickup, never got an answer, so drove over to go inside, placed order.The food we got was excellent however part of order was missing, there was no silverware or napkins.Tried calling, stayed on speaker phone longer than í should have, still no answer.No not going back over, take it as a loss and move on .I usually don't post negative reviews unless it's a really bad experience cause hey, everyone has a bad day, right ?So 2 stars cause like I said,distance was important and quality of food Almost compensated for our loss,just not quite.
During the week is the best time to eat here, or so I thought. Only 1 waitress was available between 6 am to 9 am. Service was slow, BUT it was correct.The dining area was clean, and the restrooms were clean. Although, there was only 1 waitress for 5 tables, she had a great attitude and was always willing to help out.I'd eat here again anytime during the week.
Waitress was wonderful. Covered for the cook's mistakes... never got rattled. Simply delightful, so gracious and sweetI'm sorry for not remembering your name.This young blonde is the best waitress I have run across in a few years.
No crepes, no fruit, no biscuits and gravy. Order was wrong twice
Hubby and I went around 6 or 630 or so in the evening. A chair was already pulled out for my motorized wheelchair. The waiter was very nice and friendly. We maybe reminded him once about my water but no biggie at all! He suggested a better pancake deal to save money. I had all you could eat pancakes but couldn't go past the first set. He refilled our coffee without asking! Hubby had the split decision. The coffee and pancakes are always so delicious at Ihop. Love them! Great service. Will choose this location in Amarillo over the other. The other is too small for my chair. We left a good tip, as best we could, but it was 2 cents shy of the 17%.
We ordered online for curbside service, unfortunately, the order was very late and the worker's inside were very rude. The buttermilk pancakes were okay but the double blueberry pancakes were not very appealing at all. The steak omlette was so tiny and burnt that it was unbelievable. We threw it in the trash and we will not ever order there again.
Poor service, poor food. The omelettes, if you can call them that, were over cooked, the ham and cheese was on top of the eggs, omelettes are made with the ingredients cooked inside not on top.The toast that was supposed to be serve with the omelette came out just when we finished eating. We wanted hot tea, they didn't have any tea bags, so my wife went out to our car and got one.This isn't the only IHOP restaurant we have had similar bad experiences with. IHOP quality and service has go down hill. We are done with IHOP
Very good, especially because it seemed really busy. I had figured it would take awhile but it really didn't. We got a half order of the cheesecake pancakes ? and the big country breakfast to share between us. All in all was in and out in 40 min. Would definitely go back.
There was only one poor waitress. She tried but she didn't remember things. It took 5 times of asking to get my husband's drunk refilled. I would understand it taking a while because she was alone, but not having to ask that many times. My food was room temperature, another parties was hot. She kept trying to give us other people's food (hope she didn't give it to them after handing it to me). Hubby's pancakes came when we were almost done. His pancakes were cooked nice and hot, but mine were burnt and cold. Not enough I will never go back, but worth a bad review.
