I went to the Cheltenham location on Friday and this was my first time every going to the restaurant. I enjoyed my food with my girlfriend and the Jazz band was awesome. I had the crab balls and the flounder basket. Elaina was our bartender and she was great as well. I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work Hook & Reel. ???
Claire was an amazing server, super friendly, very polite and bubbly personality!! She helped us see some deals our previous servers forgot to mention! Definitely makes me want to come again! Finger cross we get her next time too!! Thank you so much Claire.

The food and service here is exemplary! I sat at the bar and had Blair as my bartender/server. She is an absolute gem and probably isn't paid enough. The gumbo had carrots in it which I've never had in gumbo before, but it was still delicious just like everything else!

Some of the best Cajun food I have had in a long time, and this coming from someone who always celebrates crawfish season a little too much!Sit at the bar and ask for Dillen. I never went 30 seconds without a refill when I needed one!Also a really great value- especially for the size of the boils!
First of all the service was amazing! Danielle and the operation manager Andria were so sweet and the owner Bryan came to our table to see how things were. And the food outstanding, we will be back! Totally recommend! 10/10
Have eaten here several times since it opened.The service is so kind and fast .My 5 years old daughter favorite is the kids slider. And My favorite is the hook & reel steam oysters. I will come back soon
I found my new favorite restaurant!! The food was so delicious. The waiter was so friendly and energetic. The manager came out and spoke with the customers. She is amazing! We even got to meet the owner. It was a fabulous all around experience. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!
04/07/2022We thought we would try it tonight. We love seafood. I'll have to say when we walked in the door, the smell was wonderful. We were seated right after 10 min and our server, Faith was prompt. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. All three of us ordered snow crab legs, one had shrimp and one had scallops. All the different sauces we had were wonderful, but we were very disappointed in the food itself. Everything in all our bags were over cooked. When breaking the crab legs, they didn't break right and the meat broke in two every time. Never was there one solid piece and was mushy. The claws were just as bad. Potatoes were also mushy. The scallops were pretty good, but forgot to ask my about his shrimp. Maybe they were just too busy to keep an eye on our boils, I don't know. It may be awhile before we go back, but our server was very attentive and very nice.
