Cornbread used to be very good,but they changed to the muffins and they are not fit to eat,c'mon home plate go back to the cornbread squares
Diner was nice and very roomy. It was decorated with baseball player photos and bats. We like baseball and thought the decor theme was neat. Ordering was easy and the girl who took our order at the counter was nice and helpful. My kids had burgers and chicken tenders, my husband had the chicken fried steak and I had the grilled chicken salad. I didn't hear complaints or compliments about food. My salad was just ok. The tea wasn't that great either and I'm a big TEA fan. I thought it being "chef salad" that it would have bacon and croutons but it didn't. My husband's cousin had the chicken fried steak and she said that it lacked flavor. Mostly I liked the diner because it wasn't packed with people, it had lots of room and the overall "look".
My first time there had the grand slam meat was over cooked strike one, gravy was luke warm strick two, only three people working ball one asked for onions on my baked potato none put on ball two baked potato was hot ball three but the baked potato looked and tasted like it had been cooked at 11am i got there at 3pm setting to long kinda rubbery ball four i will give them another try at a earlier time in the day but i thank the cook needs to be sent back to the miners for cooking lessons.
Usually a good chicken fried steak dinner. Not at their finest today. Chicken fried steak was over cooked and not very hot. The green beans were super salty. The curly fries were hot and fresh as was the okra. It was still early so service was quick and efficient. Pertty friendly service. Placed was well cleaned. The chocolate cream pie and coconut merengue were the best part of they meal. Super creamy and fresh. The crust was baked just right. Loved them.
I ordered the steak finger dinner takeout when I got home it was chicken fingers. I called the owner apologized and personally delivered my order to my house still hot & yummy. Support locally!

Please be aware that if you order to go, gravy does not come on the side but instead is smothered over your entire order. If you don't like gravy, your entire order is ruined. Like mine.

When you say chicken fried steak I would expect, Not a frozen patty but hand battered
Waited 40 Minutes for our food because they completely forgot to put it in. Complete joke would not recommend this place to ANYONE food cold and a disappointment on what this place is now. Go somewhere else
