This was a great hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcomed you. The rooms were clean, and the bed was very confutable. WE had plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfast was very good and many choices.
One of the most modern Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in on this trip. You have to use a key card to use the elevator and another update is a TV in the bathroom. Great staff place is very clean and also close to resturants. Right off I40 and Rte 66
Do not book on booking.com we booked 3 rooms. When we arrived the front desk staff was rude and not accommodating at all wouldn’t take our reservation and then had to pay more for a suite because they were out. This will be the last trip we stay at a Holiday Inn. They also said for tonight only they wouldn’t take military discount.
Nothing really surprising about the rooms or hotel in general; it's a nice new Holiday Inn Express and the rooms, breakfast, and so on are pretty much what you'd expect. There was a malfunction with the electronic lock in my room on my first night and the person at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Glitches happen and I was really happy with how responsive everyone was.
We were traveling across country and chose to stay on the west side of Amarillo in this HIE. It is in a nice part of town and is surrounded by other hotels nearby and plenty of eateries. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The shower head is not that great and there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. We have found that to be the case in other HIE locations as well ( no bathroom fan). There is, however, a TV on the bathroom wall. Did not use that TV and it got all the condensation on it like the mirror does with no exhaust fan to help. I would definitely consider a stay here again if in the area and would recommend it to other travelers as well.
Great elevator security with room card access to floors. Also back door where we had to park as we arrived late at night.Breakfast room is well laid out and spacious spread. Room was great! Clean and 2 sinks. TV in bathroom. Bed was nice and firm.Close to US40 and plenty of places to eat, gas and stores.
This room is so nice. It has a microwave and a refrigerator and coffee maker. The bathroom even had a little flat-screen tv in it. The lobby is beautiful. So breakfast is really good. It had a ton of choices. Fruit, cinnamon rolls, bagels, fruit, pancakes, oatmeal eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy , juices ,muffins.
Blizzard caught us by surprise on hwy 40. When we needed a place to get safe and warm the folks here came through. Great hospitality and good prices. We stayed an extra day because we enjoy the fantastic staff that took care of us when we needed it.
Great hotel. Everything about our experience there met or exceeded expectations. They have an indoor pool and hot tub, which was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was quiet and comfortable.
Booked on priceline. Knew i made a right decision when I walked in the lobby. Hotel is very clean and the staff was all smiles and welcomed me right off. When I got to my room I was impressed. Very clean & very comfortable feeling. The bed is more comfortable then anything! I will definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area!
