Excellent beer selection and tasty food. We love to find places that have unique menu options. We split a Taproom pizza roll and Italian nachos (wonton chips.) Ask for extra poblano aioli with the pizza roll. Both entrees were fabulous.
Great selection of beer. I have a dairy allergy and the cook was very accommodating and we were able to find something that would work for me. Everyone else really enjoyed their regular menu options. We sat on the patio we with kids and had good service.
Great happy hour prices. Huge variety of beer on tap. Lots of food choices. About 20 TV's around the walls. Who could ask for anything more.
I found this restaurant on a dog friendly site that I use a lot because of traveling with our golden retriever. We were shown to a table and given a menu. I ordered a Berry Salad and my husband ordered a shrimp quesadilla. I must admit the food was quite good, however, I would not call this restaurant dog friendly. Our dog was never acknowledged, was offered no water, not even a friendly pet. Not only that, but at the end of the meal, we were not offered dessert, just handed a check, kinda like here's your hat, what's your hurry. We never even got a smile. I went to the restroom before leaving and was almost knocked over by our waitress and then again by another who appeared to be her friend. While the food was good, I really cannot recommend this restaurant. The rudeness of the staff outweighed the good food.
Believe it or not, this is their Margherita Flatbread. Huge chunks of diced tomato, no basil to be found. This wasn't a Margherita and it wasn't worth $11.99.Don't even get me started on the $9.00 potstickers - I can buy the same box of frozen potstickers and throw in chopped parsley (which adds no flavor btw) too for $5.00.The beer was good, I guess. But even ordering beer got weird when our waitress decided to tell us I would be cut off if I ordered 8 drinks in two hours or 4 drinks within the hour or something like that. She spent way too long describing the house rules to me BEFORE I was even finished with my first drink. We watched her unnecessarily and awkwardly explain this rule to several other customers who immediately scoffed as soon as she left their tables. I'm all for a cutoff rule, but they should only be explained when necessary - not to customers who have just sat down to enjoy their first drink on a Saturday night. The management of Georgia Street Taphouse seem to be on the brink of incompetence and I do not intend on returning anytime soon.
We went Wednesday night and they had a buy one get one free on pizza. We had the Buffalo pizza 1st it was absolutely delicious! The next pizza was the spinach I would highly recommend going and trying either one!
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. My favorite thing about them is their variety though. You could eat here a dozen times and not eat the same thing. I love how many (fantastic!) options are available on the menu. I seriously try something different every single time we go here. My wife and kids love it too. We've decided that it's our favorite restaurant in Amarillo. The spinach and mushroom ravioli is probably my favorite dish, but my kids are all about the pizza rolls (it's a handmade special pizza roll, not like the Totinos pizza rolls you buy in the frozen section). Do yourself a favor and eat here for any occasion. Oh, and a full bar with tons of options too, obviously, given the name "Taphouse".
Their pizza rolls are great. Their beer list is decent at best. We have a great brewery in Amarillo and the "Taphouse" only has 3 of their beers currently on tap. That's pretty pathetic. Our server was really cool but overloaded with tables. Probably my last trip here. There are better places in Amarillo, with better beer lists, to spend your money.
We walked in about 11PM on a Friday night with a party of 24 kids and 6 adults. Our waitress was very nice got all of order and drinks right. Our food was very good. We can't thank you enough for providing great customer service to us!!
Dined in 5 days ago, LOVED their pizza, had the Chicken Buffalo and The Tuscan. They were both great!Mango and Cucumber margaritas were very good too! Will visit again...
