My food is always fabulous and they have the best employees. Especially Big Mama! What I wouldn't give to have more employees like her!! I hope this compliment gets back to her. She is prompt, polite, and FABULOUS!!!
I finally found my favorite sub here, and I can't get enough of it!The Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar brisket. FANTASTIC!I placed my order on the app and went through the drive through to get it. Hardly any wait, so I was pleased at this.I like to get the Mac and Cheese combo because the M&C is so creamy and yummy.Everything was tasty as usual. A bit pricey, $20 for the large sub combo, but worth the cost.
Firehouse subs was a nice place to eat. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was just downright delicious. Not much else to say. It was a nice experience.
Updated my review from 5 star to 1 star. When going though the drive through they now hand the machine out the window for you to select a tip. I'm all for people making extra money, but the reason you come to firehouse is because they round up the bill to the next dollar for first responders. I agree with it and like that. My question is, why am I also having to tip? Now I have to be the jerk that selects "no tip", if that's how its going to continue, i'd rather not go.
The lady who took my order was absolutely rude and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. My son lost his ball and it rolled to the back and on the way to get it she kick a box super hard to grab it. The food is great but miss Marlene was not
Had a rude employee on the drive thru which sucked, but not the biggest deal but I Ordered two number 3’s and a kids grilled cheese and it was $40. The sandwiches lacked a lot of ingredients, I feel like subway hooks you up with a bigger sandwich. It’s all bread. Half of one of the halves of my sandwich didn’t even have meat or condiments on it, just bread. I remember loving this place a few years ago and had bragged to my mom about it and this experience definitely changed my opinion. There are plenty of great sandwich shops around Amarillo, this isn’t worth the time. Save the $40 and just go somewhere nice, I’ll never spend my money here again.
I liked the layout; felt roomy. The sandwich was up to their usual standards. They have Coke. A nice pit stop on our road trip.
We stopped by & got salads to take to our hotel room as we had been on the road for about 8 hours. It took over 10 minutes to get 2 salads & a bowl of chili, which I thought was a bit much as there was only 1 table of customers that was already eating when we placed our order. I did notice that several of the employees we huddled up joking around & on their phones while we waited. When we opened the salads literally a third of the lettuce was brown & wilted, & there was a lot of the white hard core part that no one wants to eat. They were completely unacceptable & not at all edible. This store really needs to step up it's game.
Terrible staff was huddled up and looking at their phones, the lettuce in my salad was brown and wilted and way to much of the white hard core, very disappointed. In my opinion this is just unacceptable for a sub shop. Lettuce needs to always be fresh and crisp!!!!
Hook and ladder salad is good, lots of diced meat, cheese, veggies, and generous size. I could not finish it.
