This is a local business owned and operated by a local family. They have taken care of me and my family for more than 20 years. I can safely say it is the best Mexican food in town. The service is always stellar and they have taken the time to get to know me and my family. It's my favorite dining experience in Amarillo.
This was one of my favorite breakfast spots for their chilaquiles with carne asada absolutely great but I took off 2 starts for terrible service on last trip. Asked for a corner table, waitress seemed irritated sat there for roughly 6-8 min and no one came to ask what we wanted to drink nor hips and salsa I saw other tables where being tended to except us so we walked out. I’m not sure if I would want to go back but one unpleasant instance is all I need.

service/our waitress was so mean to my friend and made her pay $15 for a meal she didn’t want and was gonna make her pay for another meal even though there was a miscommunication when ordering. when we asked them about it they were mean and unwilling to fix the mistake. any other restaurant would understand and do their best to accommodate, but they didn’t at all.also $15 for a 3 tacos and beans and rice is crazy considering you can get that at another restaurant for $9. not worth it.
