This place is a hidden gem, this is my second time ordering out here and everything is authentic from the hot sauce to these big corn tortillas that I never see. Everything just seems home made to me. The location is great as well big parking lot ,only thing is it's between exits off i40 so it's a little hard to get to so definitely check it out if you're looking for amarillos best
Friendly service! Super clean, including the restrooms. Great temperature and the FOOD, OH MY!!! So good! Homemade corn tortillas are Amazing! Highly recommend this eatery! I wish I would have found it earlier, during my visit to Amarillo Texas. It is only 2.8 miles from The Big Texan RV Park. Real food, real good and decently priced for the portions, service and comfortableness of dinning in. El Charro knows what's up! ?? Good Job y'all!
We had dinner here after checking into a nearby hotel. They have beer but no mixed drinks like margaritas. The salsa was mildly spicy. The plates were not hot. The fish was fried frozen fish, and the asada was somewhat dry. The refried beans were somewhat runny. The flour tortillas and guacamole were really good. The service was also good. This was a good place for a quick Tex-Mex meal while on the road but not exactly a destination place for us.

Good homemade food and prices aren't bad only had breakfast but if I was back in town I'd definitely go for lunch or dinner

Food was good. Service was ok.Ordered takeout for some breakfast. Showed up 5 min after the time they stated, one of the items had to be redone. Except when I received order, i was given the wrong size(much less than ordered). I didn't bother to come back considering i live across town.Again for was good, end result was bleh.Nothing as far as food and service that makes this place stand out, except for price. It's on the higher side. Most items are noticing higher than other places.Overall not bad, might have just been a busy morning.

1st time there…. Will defiantly be a stop when we run back and forth to Colorado. Excellent food and service. Chips and fresh made salsa were amazing and my wife had the Al Pastor tacos and I enjoyed the Barbacoa burritos.
