I had the Blackend Salmon and my wife had the Fillet and Lobster. Flavor was amazing on both and our waitress was super sweet and very helpful. Had to try the Key Lime pie Martini and it was awesome. Definitely recommend for a romantic dinner or any occasion
The food and service was excellent! Price range varies but it can be affordable as well. Shrimp and grits was super delicious. I would definitely return and they were a lifesaver being open later plus free parking!
My oysters on the half shell were small slivers. It may not be the time to order oysters but the waiter should have warned about the size before paying $18 for 6 very small oysters. The fish and chips were good. Very dark inside- it is a nice ambience but doesnât need to be THAT dark.

I don’t eat out much, but when I do it’s because I’d like a break from cooking and want to enjoy a relaxed family meal experience. I found I rarely leave being impressed. 9.9/10 Times I think I should’ve have cooked because I could’ve done better and saved money. I am not a chef lol, but just giving context as to what happens. Why pay to downgrade and serve my family a lesser meal? HOWEVER, with the Drunken Oyster, I can happily report I was satisfied! My son and I stumbled upon it and stopped in and we were not disappointed! We had the seafood boil, oysters, fried green tomatoes (there, patio seating which was great) and we got one of each dessert to go because we were in a rush as we were in a middle of a move and the trip was unplanned. The crème brûlée was out of this world as well as the banana…something (can’t remember the full name.) The beignets and beignet ice cream sandwiches I was excited to try because I love making my own and they were delicious but a little dense. I was shocked to find a restaurant I was pleased with, especially here in Amarillo. Of all places we have ever tried I can name two restaurants I would recommend. Glad to say I’ll be adding the Drunken Oyster to the list. Oh and our server was great too! She was attentive, cheery, professional and answered all our questions! We will definitely be back for the full sit down experience and try inside next time. Thank you! I wish there were more everywhere! So when we visit family we’d always have a go to. We know where we’re going when family visit us though! Fantastic place, go ahead and try it for yourself!
passing thru Texas and decided to stop here today. food and drinks were really good. I don't usually leave reviews but we had a mixologist / bartender Julian. He made the experience so much better by making me a smoked, personal recipe of an Old Fashion. Presentation and the drink itself blew my mind! If you stop by, you have to ask for Julian!
We absolutely love the food and atmosphere here…. But holy cow!!! We are now deaf from the band! We cant even hear people stting across the table. We resorted to texting so that we can communicate. Highly recommend this place but avoid at all cost if they have a band and you plan on trying to have a conversation.
Love the venue, but when a band is playing the sound level is too much for meal time conversation.
