We typically go to Jimmy Eggs, but on Saturday they were too full so we went to Denny's. I am giving it 5 stars, only because of our server Martha, otherwise I would give less. We have eaten at this Denny's a few times. They weren't too busy. When we walked in, no one acknowledged us. They assumed we had two people, so I let the young woman know their would be twelve of us, with two high chairs included. She said, "I don't want a table that big." They got our table ready and we had Martha for a server. She was amazing! She seemed like she really wanted to work, because she was the main one I saw seating tables. She refilled our coffee constantly. She took our order by memory and rang it in. The food came out pretty fast. She had other tables, but continued to take care of us. We will be back to sit in Martha's section!
We stop to eat brunch around 1pm waited more than 15min. To be acknowledged and after 20min. was never seated we left to another restaurant.. poor business quality and the restaurant was empty they're not even busy at the time
This Denny's has really gone downhill compared to what it used to be. Asked for cheese on my hash browns and there was barely a sprinkle of it on them. Couldn't even tell it was there and was charged .79 for it. The two strips of bacon looked like 2 half strips of bacon. My choconana pancakes had no banana very little chocolate chips and were sent without syrup and butter and all of it looked like it was kid sized portions of food instead of regular portions like what ur used to getting. And that is just the things that were wrong with my order not including my husbands order being messed up as well. I ordered online on my way home from a long 17hr workday and was just looking forward to going home and eating a great meal to end my day. Was very disappointed it was missing so many things and was just not what a Denny's meal used to be at all. Especially not for the price. It will definitely drop them to the bottom of my places to eat if I decide to ever go back.
Food was good. Service was great considering it was the weekend and strangely, not many patrons were there. So wait staff was pretty on point with service.
I got the country fried steak with eggs toast and hash browns. Waitress was kind the only thing the steak was frozen not hand battered.should ask first not good to me my friend got pancakes with the sides of bananas and Carmel and he loved it.
Being middle aged I usually like supporting some of the older breakfast joints. Not any more. 5:30 AM, out of coffee, out of ham, out of T-bone steak. There is a grocery store a block away and the general manager was working but no one is buying coffee. When I mentioned that they had customers leaving because of the lack of coffee on a Sunday morning, our waitress wasn’t concerned. Just laughed it off with some real unprofessional comments. We won’t be going back.
The waitress was superb. She handled the chaotic mess with confidence and a smile. She helped the day be just a little better for the time spent at the restaurant.
The food was good. The service was not so good. She didn't even come over unless I called her over and there was only 3 people in there including me. She wasn't very friendly.
I placed my order well in advance bc I'm a courier and needed to make my delivery on time in Albuquerque. I drove out of my way to get to the Dennys and they hadn't even started my order. And I was starving. I was unable to wait ?
So I order togos here often, because I always receive great service and yummy food cooked to special order. Alex is always nice but all the servers there really are great. Tonight however was a special experience. I was told that the only grill cook on tonight had an unfortunate incident and had to go home. That did not stop the manager from getting back there on the grill and cooking us the BEST burgers I have ever ordered in my opinion. I always do jalapeños and bacon on a double cheeseburger but tonight was absolutely the best. The burgers were juicy and everything on it was portioned very nicely and laid on the burger very nicely. The seasoned fries even tasted better tonight. A++
