Delvin's is my favorite barbeque and soul food restaurant in Amarillo. Their classic southern sides like cabbage & greens and sweet potato casserole are fantastic! It's a small shop but it's never so busy that you feel like you're waiting in line. It's family owned and operated and they're the nicest most helpful folks. Even their restrooms are very clean and nice. This is a must-try if you're in to southern soul food! Give them a chance to surprise you!
Such a great vibe! Very friendly staff and always busy. I don’t even eat meat but the baked potato and mixed greens are fantastic. (got the meat on the side and gave to a friend) Their bbq sauce is the best, too! Their sweet potatoes are the best I’ve ever had! My friend ordered a 2 meat plate with two sides and loved it all- had to take half of it home bc it was so much food!Good prices (It was 17$ for a baked potato with brisket and a side of greens-it’s a lot of food y’all!)Don’t hesitate to eat here!
The folks working here were super friendly and the food came out quickly and was delicious. We tried the ribs, brisket, turkey, and pulled pork and they were all perfectly smoky, moist, and tender. The sauce was just the right balance of sweet and tangy. We have high standards for mac and cheese and Delvin’s definitely met them—the noodles weren’t too mushy and the cheese was flavorful, not bland. The baked beans had a great savory flavor and weren’t too sweet like some can be. The cabbage and greens were unexpectedly melt-in-your-mouth buttery. Our daughter is still squealing about the smiles she got from the adorable baby there!
Awesome food and amazing family. They made us feel like family. This is a must stop when you are in Amarillo. Try everything on the menu and you will not be disappointed. Thank you for giving us such a great experience.

We ordered potato salad and macaroni and cheese for an event. It was amazing, affordable and they went out of their way to help us. Excellent service!!!
Great food! Good people so nice and friendly. Wait staff were very attentive and the bathrooms were very clean which says a lot about a place! (whole restaurant was very nice and clean) will definitely be back.

Well I have to say this is absolutely the RitzI had liver and onions the wife had the Ribs…. And of course I had to take one of her ribs ….All the sides, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, it reminded me of my granny’s cooking…. I will definitely go back often
Talk about a diamond in the ruff! This place is amazing and so delicious! From the decor to the mouth-watering food, you have try it for yourself! Some of THE BEST catfish I've had in YEARS! Keep it up!
