This place is a dive. It's off the beaten path. It's small. It gets crowded. AND.... it's one of the best hamburgers I've ever had.I came here at the insistence of my Amarillo tour guide. We started out with the chili cheese fries which were homemade, cheesy, and had plenty of flavor. The burger was the reason for coming -- and it was worth it. The beef was cooked to perfection, the hickory sauce complimented the beef, and the toasted bun didn't overwhelm the beef like a lot of the sweeter buns do.It's worth the wait. The service is friendly and fun, without the feel of a tourist trap. If you drink and you have to wait for a table, there's a bathtub full of bottled beer iced down.

Thank you TripAdvisor for this amazing lunch stop. We ordered burgers and loaded fries. Had just a little bit of a wait. Waitresses were turning tables as fast as possible. Service was great. Nothing about this place is anything but WE WILL FEED YOU! Food was outstanding. Cheesy goodness. Ranch came in a huge squeeze bottle. This place is a WINNER!

By sheer stroke of luck, enroute to Utah, I stopped in Amarillo for gas and lunch. Did a quick search of TA and voila, this highly rated dive was 1/4 mile away. I had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to open up. Lucky! Service is swift and with a smile throughout, even though the place was jammed. I loved my Green Chili Burger with cheese -- truly massive half-pound of ground beef, cooked to order (and perfection) on a choice of buns. I could hardly open my mouth wide enough to enjoy the full scope of the burger. Delicious! I was at least smart enough not to order fries or any other side dish. It just would have been too much. All said, a specialty burger like this is just $11. You can easily get in and out in 25 minutes or even less, depending upon your time needs. Despite the "dive" quality of the place, don't hesitate to go in and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Hope to return on my way back home from this trip.

Excellent burgers cooked to your order. Yummy handcut fries ( that is our opinion). Super cold beer. There are very few seats in this restaurant. We bought a bottle of the Hell sauce. It is much smaller than the bottle on the table. The Hell sauce reminded us of a bloody Mary mix we have had.

Great alternative to the Big Texan. Burgers are huge and delish. Service is efficient and friendly. I took one star off because the fun ambiance comes at the price of cleanliness.

You pull in the parking lot and wonder why someone sent you here. The building looks to be derelict. You walk in to a cool vibe. By the time you have finished the burger you are wondering why you have never eaten here before and when you can come back

Friendly and fast service in a time traveling spaceship with tasty burgers.Salad came with a whole container of ranch!☆☆☆☆☆Unlimited options on sauces.Just wished the onion rings would have been a lil crunchier.A delicious, fun meal none the less.Thank you!

We were visiting Amarillo and this little gem was suggested so we tried it. It didn't look like much but the food was GREAT. We will eat here when we visit Amarillo again.
