Went to this location on May 10 2022. Drive thru worker girl tells me three different things on the type of chicken they have. First off no legs when we ordered. We get to the window and she says no breasts. Okay then, just make it all thighs i said. She closed the window and then comes back to say all they had were legs and wings. I was passed off at that point. I asked her why I was told 3 different things about what type of chicken they had. I said fix whatever and let us go home. She slams the window shut and then practically throws our order at us and we left. She was stupid and rude. I will never go there again. Bad service and bad attitude from her makes me want to ban them from selling anything to eat. The chicken was tasteless and cold.
I had a fish dinner, it was very good but service was very slow and they ran out of sides except mashed potatoes and french fries,, not sure why but that's what happened. Hopefully, it gets better soon, I'll still go back because food is worth it!
I pre-ordered catfish and it still wasn't ready when I got there. I had to wait for them to cook it. The soda was carbonated water, so I turned it back in for another side, which I chose Corn on the cob. When the brought my order to me, I asked if the corn was in there and he responded, yes. So I lookin the box and the corn was not in there. I sent my niece inside to get the corn and it was still sitting on the counter. The female employee casually replied, I forgot to put it in the box. The chicken strip my niece ordered had way too much batter on them. The whole experience was totally unpleasant.
Went through drive thru tonight(2/22/22) around 9:20! Ordered a #1 and #2 large teas. Well we got to the window and the girl says is it ok to give u more okra because we are low on fries! I specifically said u can on his but not mi e, because I HATE OKRA!!! She said ok. We get home, I have a box FULL OF OKRA and no fries or gravy and dry OLD chicken ! Are you serious chicken express? With your expensive prices and you can’t give me what u want! I need a manager to contact me asap! I left my name and number twice but I guess they were closed. I don’t care if it is 10 till, if you are taking my money, make some fresh fries and give me what I paid for!! I need a REFUND ASAP, because all of this nasty food is going to the TRASH!! You can do WAY BETTER Chicken Express ??
A few days ago when I was getting dinner. It was taking forever. I first thought because they all of sudden got slammed. I had already been waiting 30 mins or so. It came my turn and I was pleased seeing two workers sitting and talking. Especially near food. Without have her pulled back. Seemed like the other two that were on shift were trying to get everything prepared and out. Which took another 10 to 15 minutes to pay and get my food. Really looked like my cashier was really going through it. Still no excuse not to greet customers in a friendly manner. Or wish them a good evening like almost ever fast food place I have gone to. I’ve always loved the food. Was there even a manager on shift? Adult supervision needed because that wasn’t okay. That’s not why I’m giving two stars. It’s because of what I witnessed. I worked in the food industry and that wouldn’t slide. Period. For a fast food place. Wasn’t “fast” at all. My food wasn’t as warm when I got home and tons of hard pieces. The rolls were excellent as always though.Seen in the picture I attacked.
Will NEVER dine at this Chicken Express again. No one answered at the menu board after waiting for 5 minutes. Ordered at the window after waiting in a short line for 30 minutes. Employee was nice but got my order wrong, again. Chicken was dry and cold, biscuit was hard and only got 1/2 cup of gravy. I don't mind waiting but it better be worth the wait. Done.
SLOWEST chicken express I have ever seen! Food was cold and the chicken was hard as a rock. I get it, it’s a fast food joint but is there not any kind of dress code?? I don’t want to look at your boxers because your pants are hanging down around your knees or your jeans have rips in them up to your belt loops. Adult supervision needed!
Been waiting in line for about 30 minutes. Got to window, everything was cool, and then the three girls working were on their phones goofing off, and it took a whole 15 minutes AT THE WINDOW to get my food. Food wasn't even fresh. There was no hold up besides the people making the food. If you don't care about your time, at least care about others, y'all. That was rough.
We looked online for pricing for a large order and found no pricing on there website but did find it on a menu shown on Google. I called and ordered 2 of the 30 peice tender family options. I confirmed the order and price over the phone but when we arrived everything was 20% more than shown on the Google menu and agreed to over the phone. We had to speak at multiple managers and the owner and still paid 20.00 more than what the agreed price. Even if the food was amazing the out right lies told and poor customer service would have been enough for us to NEVER RETURN.
I know the staffing issues has hit everybody hard due to the Rona, but I don't think this Chicken Express qualifies as "fast" food anymore. It wouldn't be so bad if you couldn't see staff standing around horseplaying when you finally get up to the window. On my last visit, a young Lead or Supervisor was throwing food ON THE FLOOR instead of in a trash can. Then, she made someone go behind her and sweep it up. Looked like a trashy haseing trip to me. Will try pretty hard to not go back to this store.
