Got the chicken fried steak. Food was great. I called to see if I had left my ID from my visit. First girl I spoke to was super nice and said she was going to look. Call was disconnected and another girl answered. The person who answered the second time asserted herself as the manager in a condescending manner. I asked if it was found she cut me off and said if she had it would be in the safe. I apologized for annoying her. She continued to be rude. Southern hospitality? Not here.

The five stars was for the Mac & Cheese. Now I actually ordered the chicken fried steak and the Mac & Cheese was a side. But man you could tell that the Mac & cheese was homemade. The onions also had a really good flavor. Next time Im considering having the Mac and cheese plate that they have. Overall it was fantastic!
I love this restaurant. I'm celiac and this restaurant is so accommodating. However, 2 weeks ago I made reservations in person for brunch today. We had a friend from out of town visiting. We got there and there's a note on the door that said they're on vacation. Nobody called me to cancel the reservation. We were scrambling to find somewhere else. So disappointed.
Best chicken fried steak in town! Have nothing bad to say about this place, the staff is friendly the atmosphere is nice and the well the chicken fried hits the mark! We've been to every restaurant and this place wins. Even my super critical husband was happy.
Brent's is consistently amazing. It is obvious that each item on the menu is freshly made and prepared in Brent's kitchen.An Amarillo gem.
Tried to go today at lunch, but was told since we didn't have a reservation it would be close to a two hour wait. The restaurant was half empty and 2 hours would have been right at closing time. Hostess staff was very unprofessional and rude. I heard the snickering as we were walking out of the door. Thanks, but I'll pass on this restaurant.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. The fried mushrooms were delicious. Waitress was very attentive. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful new find. I absolutely loved everything. The food was cooked absolutely perfect and everyone we dealt with (including the owner) was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will be coming back and will be telling friends and family as well.
