I had the chicken strip. They were large and NOT over fried. The gravy was scrumptious. Nice facilities, good service and fast. Great for families or big parties.
Stopped by on my way through Amarillo. A regular burger, fries, with a few extras and a thin mint shake was a lot of food. Lots of groups and families coming in also.
I am a huge fan of Blue Sky. The burgers & onion rings are outstanding. I would recommend the crispy fries for those who prefer fries. There are 2 locations in Amarillo, & both are equally good.
Fantastic chicken sandwich and awesome fries. I definitely intend to make this a regular stop on my way through Amarillo, cant wait to try more of the menu!! The best part is I was able to call ahead, stop off on the I-40, pickup in the drive through, park and eat quick and keep right on down the road in about 20 minutes! Love this place! Please come to az!
I've been seeing these juicy, delicious, cheesy burgers on Instagram and got to craving. I ordered the Bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and now I'm in a food coma. It was phenomenal. If I still drank, I would have washed it down with a cold brew. The Dr. Pepper was refreshing though. Please come to Blue Sky if you want a great burger, you will not be disappointed.
This review is for takeout. We placed a phone order. The person taking the order was super friendly. I normally don’t like ordering over the phone because the person on the other end always seems rushed, but that was not the case. So A+! We were told the food would be ready in 15-20 minutes. We picked up at exactly 15 minutes and then a 5 minute drive home. When we got home, the food was barely room temperature. The cheese fries were one giant congealed chunk. Everything here seems like it has promise. The grilled chicken sandwich tasted good. The burger tasted good. The cheese fries were fresh cut fries with a generous amount of cheese. The side salad was quite large and also good. However, the food was not hot and did not travel well. I guess my bottom line on this place is that it’s probably really good if you eat it fresh at the restaurant but it is not good for takeout.
As much as I love a Bacon Cheeseburger, I actually got the Greek Salad with grilled chicken. It was really good and HUGE! Also ordered the fried mushrooms for the table to share and everyone could not stop eating them. They know what they're doing here no matter what you order. The portions are quite large to the point they should rename it Big Sky! Will look forward to coming here the next time I'm out West.
Small burger restaurant with a decent menu. Burgers came out quickly and were hot but were "just OK".
Came in with my family and boyfriend one weekend shortly after I got off work and them coming into town. Food was excellent as always! Service was horrible. Cashier was hard to understand. Saw multiple female employees walking around without their hair pulled out. Getting on there phones. Multiple employees standing around. What seemed to be the managers, they didn’t do anything! Multiple employees seen have drinks up front with they should be going to the back. I also want to see boxers while I’m trying to eat. Dress code? Doesn’t seem like it. The few employees I saw staying busy and greeting customers. Y’all did an excellent job! Everyone else needs to go by yalls example. I’ll go back for food but services needs to be better. No excuse! I’ve worked in the food industry and wasn’t pleased. Wouldn’t have let it slide. Period.
Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, half plate of cheese fries and small drink. Came out to about $23 dollars. A little pricey.Service was great and even though the line was long it was quick and there was plenty of seating. Rastaraunt was clean.Burger was pretty good I'd go 4 out of 5 stars. Fries were pretty bland and I would say 3 out of 5 stars. Overall it's a pretty good burger spot.
