These are some dang great burgers!!! They are big so have an appetite. The menu here is amazing. Can't wait to try the street tacos and breakfast tacos!!! You can but Barbados by the pound!!! What!!?!?!?! Nice little hole in the wall in Alvin.
Wow! Place was packed, prices reasonable, tacos big. We got Barbacoa, Hippo and Texas (BEC) and all were delicious. Homemade tortillas, lean but moist Barbacoa, and the Hippo the best of all. The red salsa too hot for me, but the green was milder. No wonder the place was so busy! Only three tables inside and two picnic tables outside so most get orders to go, as I did. Wait was maybe 5 minutes…Go, try it out!
Good food usually pretty fast service. Love the breakfast tacos. Great Street tacos and burritos are huge. Can eat off of for 2 days
Hole in the wall place with only 3 picnic tables in the inside. It is more of a to-go order service. Service was great, food had flavor, and the homemade tortillas were awesome and big.Right now most places don't have tripas (fried small intestines), or lengua (cow toungue) and they did. Cannot comment on lengua but my partner gave it a thumbs up. My menudo was not spicy but they gave me a generous amount of dice jalapeños, cilantro and onions.The hamburger was huge with a nice big serving of french fries. I might order that next time. Lastly, the kids enchilada plate was ok. It had white cheese and the sause was a type of green salsa gravy. Not sure how to explain it. It was not bad at all just not my favorite compare to everything else.The price was right for the service and food. Oh, I almost forgot. The agua frescas (flavor water) were delicious. I ask if they were made from real fruit and they said yes. I'll go ahead and take their word for it because I enjoyed them. I ordered orchata (rice water) and watermelon.
My daughter took me to this place for breakfast tacos and then made a very good first impression. It has a good following of people that must be regulars based on how they interacted with the workers and the workers with them. We had to wait a while to get our order though it didn't seem too busy. Our order was fantastic though. They must have had several eggs in each of the tacos so they are very filling and had a good flavor. They even had a nice little area that you could have ate there

GREAT spot for breakfast tacos. Affordable and delicious. Small indoor seating area (like real small). Order at counter and sit inside or outside or take it to go. Service is fast and super friendly!
Love at first bite. While eating this taco, I found myself gazing lovingly into it's egg. This breakfast tack is top notch and holds it's own to the best of the best. Great job Taco Burger, and thank you!!! I needed a good taco place on my way to work!
I really like this place! Its smells so good when you walk in. They have non meat choices & Aguas frescas!
I got two hippo breakfast tacos. I didn't realize how big they were. I barely finished one. I don't know what I was expecting from a taco named after a hippopotamus. Intelligence is eludes me on occasion. ?
