So many delicious options to choose from that you can’t get anywhere else! We got the BBQ Baos and the Brisketmacdilla, both delicious. And our server Mari was the sweetest and did a great job giving us suggestions and menu information!
Food was FANTASTIC and the service was even better! Server was knowledgeable of the menu and fan faves and made great suggestions!
The food here is always delicious. After eating here a half dozen times, tonight was the final straw. The service is horrible. It's almost always horrible. I've only gotten good service one time and that was because the owner was literally sitting right behind me. The service is just terrible. Tonight my wife's brisket, bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich came out with no bacon but our waitress never came around. We ended up having to get another waitress to fix the sandwich. We wanted to have dessert, we wanted more drinks, and we wanted better service. Our waitress decided she wanted to go play tic-tac-toe, on the backboard with a bunch of kids then to wait on us. She was back there for about 15 minutes. I will never return to this restaurant ever and it makes me sad because their food is so good.
Everything was awesome! Clean place. Went early this Sunday. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food tasted fresh. We had crawfish (uhh-maaa-zingg), the brisket tacos and the brisket nachos. Will definitely return, even though it's a long drive for me. Give it a try!
The service was slow to non existent. I was there 30 minutes and finally had to ask the waitress for my order. One couple left after having to go to the counter to get more tea. There are only 4 tables occupied at the time so they were not busy. They were out of ribs and sausage and this was as soon as they opened so it was not like than ran out. The brisket was fair for tenderness but way too much smoke. The chicken was so dry I could not eat it. The sides of broccoli and beans were good but the portions are very small. The pricing is not bad.
Food was decent service was horrible, ordered an appetizer it never came. We had to flag wait staff down to get more drinks. Offered us hot beer because they were out of cold. Asked for additional silverware it also never came. Waitress seemed distracted and unapologetic to errors. Restaurant was not overly busy not sure why service could not be maintained. Table next to us had a curtain fall off the wall and hit them in the head. Strange experience but the burger was good. This is my second visit over a span of a couple months, tried to give it another shot, but service maintained same level.
Smokin D's ribs were incredible, the brisket, Mac n cheese quesadillas were also spot on, I recommend trying those.Great service, friendly folks with great food. Smokin D's is a must try and hidden gem in Alvin, TX.
This place is beyond amazing. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the workers are as sweet as can be. I will always recommend everyone at least try it once.
Place is nice and clean. Waitress that took my order was also nice and very helpful. I really wanted potato salad so I decided on trying this place out because it had 4.5 stars.I paid $98 total for my order.I ordered a pound or half a pound of chicken, turkey, brisket, ribs, sausage.I would give stars to the following ⭐️-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️32 oz potato salad. I did not like at all. No one liked it at all. Maybe they should try it before serving. Needed salt and it seems like they added cheese or something just really bad taste. ⭐️Baked beans were okay seems like they were canned and just warmed up. Not hot but warm. ⭐️⭐️Fried rice with brisket was ok also but just weird to eat with bbq ⭐️⭐️Corn was also not good To my liking⭐️The ribs were good I would give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars for the ribs.The turkey was also good and enjoyed it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The brisket I did not like as much. It didn’t look like the pictures in the reviews maybe I got different batch not sure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️The sausage was good and good consistency and texture ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Went on Friday evening for dinner. Maybe had 5 tables with customers. Took a bit for someoneto get our drink order. Waitress was nice. But then it seemed like to get our dinner order which my daughter and I shared the 4 meat plate and my granddaughter got the corn dogs for kids. Waited for awhile. I understand that every place is short staffed now, but it also is BBQ and it was already made to my knowledge? We had brisket, turkey, pulled pork and the ribs, with the sprouts and Mac and cheese one other side. Nothing crazy at our table that should have taken long to prepare. We have eaten here before just seemed off to us.
