Nice restaurant but food wasn't that good. Veggies were not hot. Waitress was super busy so service wasn't as good.
We had a great meal..at a great price! The stuffed baked potato my son got was a behemoth of a meal!!?
We are full-time RV'ers in town a short while. The servings were excellent and huge, and prices minimal. They would have received 5-Stars IF the waitress had been more attentive. Never once did she stop by and ask if we needed something else, and several times walked by while we were trying to get her attention. Bottom line is a wonderful meal (with rolls, cornbread and three sides) chosen from a many option menu that is large enough for dinner plus another dinner at home, all for less than $10 (senior) or $11 (regular). The service was horrible. We waited while we watched wait staff standing everywhere. Our waitress did less than the people cleaning tables. My children had cheeseburgers which made both of their stomachs upset. My son took one bite of his huge burger and we threw the rest away. This place used to be really good. I'm not sure what has happened but I will never take my family here again.
The manager on Monday night 01/24 needs to be taught good costumer service. Walked in at 6:15 and the manager was at the register and just looked at me. No hello, no welcome and no thank you for coming in. I can go to any other Kelley's and get great courtesy and service. She's not the only one. All of the night managers at the Alvin location need an attitude adjustment.
Biggest biscuit I've ever seen!! Food is great home cooking style. The grilled pork chops are delicious. Tons of selections too. Love coming here for family breakfast or dinners!
I usually enjoy anything from Kelley's. But was very disappointed with the meatloaf. It was cold and tasted like grease. The green beans were over cooked and mushy. I hope they can get back to their great standards.
We got so much food, the chicken fried steak was so big it was as large as plate it was on and tender too
We stopped there from a referral from a friend. We weren't disapointed. Very large portions. The staff was very attentive.
There were 8 of us there for a birthday. They sat us back in the Alvin room. They even allowed us to use the small table adjacent to us for gifts and the cake! It was a pleasant experience and a great wait staff. Food got there quick and it was good as usual! Large portions too as always. Even with our crowd they were really nice and accommodating. I recommend this place 100%!!!
