The food is good. Sorry we had the scallops appetizer.2 scallops for $18. Was steep. Atmosphere more casual than what you would think considering the prices.

We came to Inn to celebrate anniversary. We enjoyed it very much. Staff was super friendly! We had a room on 3rd floor stayed in Bobby Jones Haven room. View of golf course, would of preferred nature view on other side but it was booked --but will keep that in mind for future. Room was clean, cozy, and quiet! We had room service from restaurant. It was very tasty! They even brought up to our room on 3rd floor-no elevator:) Close to town but not in town--which is perfect for us! Fun things to see and do in South Haven. We took our bikes and rode them on trail to Van Buren State Park. Lovely ride! I would come back here anytime. Thank you for making our trip enjoyable!

The Inn at HawksHead continues to be expertly run even during the pandemic. We have stayed there many times over the past 15 years and always come away fully refreshed. The restaurant itself presented delicious meals with the sesame encrusted whitefish being the best I've ever eaten. It's a great location from which to visit South Haven, Saugatuck and Douglas for the art, shopping and many restaurants and then to return to the quiet of the Inn's cozy rooms and breathtaking views of the wooded ravine through large picture windows. I expect we will return again and again to this little slice of "get-away heaven". The Burtons from Leo-Cedarville, IN

I really do enjoy dinner at Hawkshead. The location, atmosphere, and ambiance are wonderful, but the food is the star. The lobster bisque is nice, and this time, all four in our party ordered the crusted Lake Superior whitefish. None of us was disappointed! Two in our party were celebrating birthdays, and we were treated to two complimentary desserts. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here.

This was my husband’s favorite meal during our weekend in South Haven. He ordered and enjoyed the duck and sweet potatoes. The crab fondue dip was also delicious. There were many items on the menu that looked very tasty. Our server was attentive and the restaurant felt welcoming. You got the sense that they have a lot of local/regular customers. It looked like there was a Christmas party in the room with a fireplace, and that area looked very cozy. It’s a short, dark drive from downtown South Haven and worth leaving downtown for the menu.

Restaurant is very nice and our server Tiffany was excellent. She made us all feel welcome and was very informative and entertaining. Drinks were ordered and served quickly. Food was delicious, I had roast duck. Skin was crisp and meat still moist. Glaze and sweet potato mash were great compliment to duck. My wife had Bluegill with light breading that allowed fish to be star of the dish. Would definitely recommend restaurant. Location on golf course is is beautiful.

I phoned in a take-out order for four entrees and a salad. The food was ready as promised when I arrived and only had to wait for the hostess to seat a few guests before my order was brought to me. Everything tasted great and we were very pleased with the service and food.
